I was in a car accident over the long holiday weekend. My truck was rear ended on the freeway. I wasn't really sure what to do and if anyone was available to talk to. I called a few Attorneys and all of them seemed as if I was just a number, they told me someone would call me back and that nobody was available to speak with at the time I called. Then I called Accident Attorney's Group. The receptionist answered and was very friendly. She seemed to genuinely care about me and said she would be happy to have me speak with an attorney right now. She transferred me to an Attorney named Cliff. He was very professional and was genuinely interested in my case. He made me feel at ease and he spoke to me as if I knew him for several years. After speaking with Cliff, he reassured me that my case will be handled timely and professionally and even offered to have his team come to me to get all the information needed to start my case. The next day a man named Edward came to visit me at my home. He was very nice and explained he used to work in law enforcement and has always been skeptical of attorneys until he himself was involved in a car accident and called AAG to represent him. He shared with me that he was so impressed with AAG that he decided to work for them. Ed took pictures of my truck as well as my statement of the accident. He also explained how the process works which really helped me understand things like my vechicle repair, medical bills and loss of wages. I now have a better understanding of what is to come, and feel confident on how my situation will be handled. Recieved an UNSOLICITED call from "the accident attorneys group" a service for personal injury attorneys to assess and compare the possible monetary values that my recent auto accident could receive with or without an attorney. I NEVER CONTACTED ANY SUCH SERVICE. When asked how he got my number I was told they spend alot of money to collect meta data tracking on smart phones including recorded audio eavesdropping of conversations that include the mention of the word "accident" as well as analyzing recent search histories. I was involved in a car accident back in October. It was a three car pile up and I was the first car that got rear ended by two cars on the freeway. I was put in touch with a Lawyer named Corey and he led my husband and myself to believe that I was in great hands. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We went back and forth via email from October until early January and then Corey and his team went completely dark. My insurance sent them documents to review and they just never responded, I've sent them emails to follow up - checking in on the case and there's been no response. Such a waste of time - not only did I have to gather and send them personal documents of my medical visits (chiropractor, urgent care etc.) but I also had to sit down for over an hour with the "inspector" who came out and took full account of my story and looked at my car. I agree with Jo F. I not only did the get way less than expected I almost lost my job because they doctor they sent me too wasn't returning the required paperwork to my jobs disability company. I truly believe they robbed me. They will not contact you for updates, the only time they contacted me was for the initial consultation and technically they were only returning my initial call. They finally wanted to call and rush me to sign documents because it was a day or two before they had to respond to the other parties insurance. Damn near 2 years have gone by and now they wanted to contact me and rush me. I was initially told that based on my injuries they see cases settle for over 100,000 well my check was a little over 16,000 big difference for somone who sustained back and neck injuries that are actually documented and proven through MRI'S and CT scan. I didn't feel like dealing with them any longer and the fact that I wss behind in my bills becuse of being on disability and not getting my checks becuse their dixot5 wasn't returning the required paperwork I just took the 16,000. Thank you for taking care of me with my lawsuit due to a rear end auto collision. I was completely stopped and was hit in my Chevrolet Tahoe by a Ford Excursion.
