I took a training course with this company regarding software engineering. For the very moment I…read moreset foot through the door I could tell I was dealing with a professional organisation. Registration was easy and I was quickly on my way to the classroom where I met the trainer. The good thing about Learning Tree, and I think a distinguishing feature, is that their trainers are professionals who happen to train some of the time, rather than full time trainers who have perhaps lost touch with the business world. My trainer was very knowledgeable and was open to further questions that weren't necessarily in the curriculum. He spent a great deal of time ensuring that we all understood the material and got the best out of the course. Lunch is provided as part of the course fee from an onsite deli bar. The food is good and you can get a lot for your voucher. I would use this company again.

He has even recommended that his company use another Training firm, and they now use: Skillsoft who are much more professional, welcoming, approachable, knowledgeable and understand the IT market perfectly. Their course was so much for successful for him. I also know someone who worked for Learning Trees Leatherhead office and said it was the worst place to work, the place was rife with staff bullying the MD was arrogant and rude and they moved to working for IBM and have never been happier. So all round, not heard one good thing about this company. Utterly amazed to see they rank quite highly in the list of providers. I certainly wouldn't recommend them.

I attended on weekends and the trainer was careless, he…read morefinished the sessions 4 hours earlier than the formal time and after the end of the foundation exam he told me I got 60 then I received my formal mark as 56. Worse than that is that he did not help us in the practitioner preparation, all what he said is that we should read 6 pages after the foundation exam!!! Next week a new trainer came prior the practitioner exam data and he was direct and straight in tackling the exam questions but after what?I just wonder after what? After we lost all that valuable time that we could have prepared well for the practitioner. Eventually I entered the practitioner and I believe I answered what was suitable for passing and I received 42! Someone in the BCS or the Knowledge Academy seems either to be playing with my marks or its just one vague and dirty policy to fail some of the applicants that they choose to fail as a failing sample in each course. This whole course does not worth a pence or minute of your time, sincerely, look for another reliable academy that helps you to pass and not a careless training provider like that.

I recently volunteered for a local conservation charity - BTCV (British Trust for Conservation…read moreVolunteers) and I did some work with them in tidying up and helping landscape Coldfall Wood and Lordship Recreation Ground. The charity was set up in 1959, and has a successful history of environmental conservation volunteering throughout the UK. One of their values is to ensure that they help maintain a sustained environmental improvement: A healthy environment and improved biodiversity is at the heart of all BTCV's activities Working with and supporting BTCV has been a really rewarding experience and has made me feel like I'm contributing something worthwhile to our local community and at the same time helped me to build my own self-confidence, learn new skills and meet new people. BTCV is almost entirely reliant on voluntary donations. The work they do is only made possible by people who pro-actively want to make a difference to their community and environment. The organisation's mission is to create a more sustainable future by inspiring people and improving places, which in this day and age I feel is more important than ever. BTCV have been developed through four decades of a 'hands-on' approach to conservation activities. During this time they have very much adapted they way in which they work to meet the changing needs of communities, however their key values remain and are central to the continuing valuable work they carry out in local open spaces. I can't recommend this organisation highly enough and if anyone is looking to do some good with their spare time, I recommend visiting BTCV's website where you will find all the information you'll need to get involved! http://www2.btcv.org.uk

He explains everything really well, the car is brand new (2012 Ford Focus) and always clean, and I feel ready to take my exam (17 September fingers crossed), only 6 weeks after I started taking my driving lessons with them.
