It doesn't feel cold and sterile either though; it's actually quite cozy and inviting. I find the reception staff here to be very friendly and personal, and the doctors were also friendly and understanding too. My sister took her daughter here, and she agrees that the doctors are very helpful and hold excellent bedside manners (especially with the children). This place isn't bulk billing, however a Medicare rebate is available and health care cardholders receive a discount.

It's been a little while since I last went here as I've got my own GP now, but I used to go here…read morewhenever I needed to see a doctor. The staff are lovely, and the facilities are pretty good. I mean, it's pretty neat, there's plenty of seating (and of course, plenty of people, and if you've got a headache, you just know that no matter where you go, there's going to be a few kids making a hell of a racket while the parents don't show much in the way of control over them), and generally, it's about as pleasant as going to see a doctor can be. It's pretty convenient if you need to do shopping as it's opposite The Glen. The magazines aren't too far out of date either. The doctors that I have seen there are courteous, professional and friendly. That's really what matters.

This is one of those places where the doctors are way too rushed, the waiting times are way too…read morelong and generally, there's lots of misery around the place. Yes, it's a standard doctor's practice. If you have a GP that you normally see, but can't get in, then try here. Really, it's better than waiting eight hours at a hospital to get seen, and apart from that, you've got limited choices. Just hope that they're not too busy (and they usually are). Having the chemist next door means that you'll be able to get your prescription filled without having to drive anywhere else or without having to walk far, which isn't what you should be doing if you're not feeling very well. Expect the usual crying children, the usual dude who coughs loudly without covering his mouth and spraying viral mucus everywhere, and the overworked staff who do their best but can find it all a bit much sometimes. Like I said, it's pretty typical.
