So I got one and called back. thenI called back. They give you several options. Not knowing how much the annuity was I ask .can't give that information. Fill out the packet an send it in. I don't know what option to take. Fill the packet to send it in . So I filled the packet to taking the full pay out. Called back. We never got the packet. I typed into google American General Complaints. I am not the only person American General is not paying. Page after page after page. MY ADVICE DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO AMERICAN GENERAL IF YO EVER WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN.

We submitted the paperwork and were told it would take 4-5 business days to process. After 10 days we had not received the funds, so-called again. We were told we needed an additional form .At the time of he first call we asked if an additional paperwork was needed and were told no. We submitted the additional form and again waited 10 days or so and had not received the funds. We called again and got a supervisor who said they would overnight the check to us, which they did. We immediately deposited the check and then received a call from AGI that they were placing the check on hold until we submitted another form. This company will delay you getting your funds any way possible. DO NO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM
