Understandably, they are more talkative with the guests who speak Italian. We felt very comfortable with the service and our ordering. The young man who was helping the server spoke the most English and we used our best Italian phrases to show we were trying! I ordered the octopus stack and it was delightful and beautiful. The octopus was cooked perfectly, tender and plentiful. It was stacked between layers of potatoes that were perfectly spiced with a tad of vinegar. The beautiful red cherry tomatoes that surrounded the stack were perfection. It was an A+ experience. The pizza was delicious, although, we thought the crust could have been a bit crispier. As we left the restaurant I was admiring all of the beautiful seafood pasta dishes......next time!

Excellent service at first, but then the two waiters got very busy with a full crowd. Liberal parking available. For sure start with the first item on the anti pasta menu--fried bread (think sopapillas) and local thin-sliced cold meats and cherry jam--excellent! And since this is the balsamic world headquarters, we split a fillet of beef slathered in a small fortune in balsamic vinegar. For us, it was balsamic overkill--too much of a good thing, you might say. An elegant dining experience overall.

Starting with the food, we chose the 4 courses tasting menu (we could compose it) at 30€ per person. Not only the dishes were very well presented but they were well thought in terms of taste combination (the beef tartare with curry mayo and the hazelnut crème brulée were superb). The chef also provided us with a great dish from the culinary tradition of Emilia Romagna: a speechless plat of Tagliatelle al ragú bolognese. Turning to the service, we would like to highlight the professionalism and charisma of Lisa, the maitre. We were welcomed with a great smile and we can say Lisa is a great listener, she advised us on the wine (Monte Brullo, Sangiovese 2012, az. agr. Costa Archi, €25) and it was a perfect match with our choice of dishes. To sum up, the price we paid is definitely worth the quality of the food and the service. If you wanted to make a customer happy, congrats you did it! Ps: we read that the chef is inspired by art and "giradischi", we would love to hear some of his best musical inspirations in the restaurant next time:)

I got the cheese pizza and melone with prosciutto. It was really yummy! The melon wasn't as tender as some others I had while in Italy but it was towards the end of the season. I finished the whole meal by myself and was stuffed but none of the food felt super heavy. The service was kind and quick. If you are a non-Italian speaker, there is a language barrier with some staff members but despite this, everyone was so friendly and patient with me. The food from other tables smelled amazing which made me wish I wasn't dining alone or I would've ordered even more. The inside is no fuss and the outside patio has nice white tablecloths. I'd recommend this spot for an easy and delicious meal.
