Beautiful museum stuffed full with classic artworks from the 15th to 19th century. Mostly Italian artists, arranged chronologically and grouped by time.
Entrance was €10 with a discount for educators, the tour is mostly self-directed and on two stories of this building. The individual galleries are rather small but this tends to help with keeping the noise contained. That was helpful as we visited on a weekday and there was a large group of teenage students being brought through as well as a docent-led tour (in Italian) in some of the galleries.
Gift shop is self-help with vending machines offering postcards and magnets of some of the more popular pieces.
We found parking along the street but be careful not to drive into the Zona Traffico Limitato area with your car or you might get a ticket.
