I promised myself that I would come back after the first time I had the food here many months ago. The chicken here is amazing and today I made sure to try the ribs. My brother asked the cashier if we should order 2 half ribs and a pound of brisket. The cashier said, one half ribs and one pound of brisket is enough food for 2 people. My brother and I aren't big people. I am 5ft 9in and weigh 157 pounds and my brother is the same height but weighs 145 pounds. So the cashier was right, one half ribs and a pound of brisket is just right amount of food. The ribs are the most tender ribs that I ever had. The ribs are the best part of the meal. The brisket was over cooked and tough. Chicken and ribs are the best things they offer. Most definitely will be back.

Receipt food purchase at AC Barbeque

2 Stars is really stretching it. Was not up to par. The chicken was not seasoned itself before the flavor they just put on top of it. The mac and coleslaw was bland. The mac was not mac-ing nor cheesing. The only thing that was good was the cornbread and banana pudding. They establishment can do way better than the food they serve. Service and the ambience was superb. What can you do better? Marinate the meats to perfection. Not over-seasoned or under-seasoned, but just right before putting all of the flavors to the meats menu.

TLDR; Really wanted to like this place buuuuut food fell short. Overall I'd give a 3.5/5 stars. Food: Both ribs and brisket were sooo salty. At first bite, they were really tasty with good smokiness and BBQ- but as you keep eating... it is SO salty. The ribs were not tender/fall off the bone and quite chewy. BBQ Sauce was very generous! Banana pudding was fine. Mac and cheese was very yummy! Service: Got berated for not having my receipt immediately lol and there was only ONE person in front of me on a slow Sunday afternoon... I did pull up my virtual receipt # to verify, but the staff member had chastised me and said "this is why you should always have a receipt" (even when they give you the option to have no receipt + you give them your name upon ordering.. lol weird) Ambiance: fast casual at mall dining court. Order at the counter then pick-up when they call your #. Keep an eye out for the # and not the name haha. Food comes out relatively fast.

First time in Cali and visiting Anthony & Cedric's food spot was a MUST My son kept saying, "TENDERISM!!!" The food was delish; cornbread was "slap yo momma" good and that banana pudding Everyone in our party had nothing but good things to say about the food and we were visiting from NC, DC, and MD....real foodies!!

Don't sleep on this spot! Anthony Anderson and Cedric the Entertainer put up a fantastic barbecue restaurant. The rib sandwich was as messy (you will require several napkins and wipes) as it is delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. Fabulous place!

I've now been to AC Barbeque 3x and have tried most of the menu and I'm soo sad I can't go higher than 3 stars. I went on opening day excited about Anthony Anderson and Cedric the Entertainer opening a spot! I love both these guys, shiiiiiiiiiii I loved the Steve Harvey show back when I was little~!!!! I was pulling for it, but the flavor just isn't flavoring. Or the mass production of those flavors isn't flavoring. The staff here has been really nice every time we've gone in. Friendly service, of course really cute shop that grabs you eye at the Century City food court, and the items sound great! Sadly, the cornbread was super dry despite being the best flavored item we tried - very corn forward and I mean that in the best way possible. I'm a former Chicagoan and thus a former Illinoisan, I love the husks. It shouldn't be served cold or looking like your five year old cut it with a butter knife, but really cornbread being dry is the biggest offense of the dish. Serving cold cornbread with ice cold butter to put on top is not the way. The mac and cheese was fine but again, a bit dry. It wasn't the amazing level we were expecting though from the guys. We've seen Anthony's mama on his shows and she would not approve. Now the meats made me the saddest. The chicken wings were so dry we couldn't finish them and generally just felt bland. That BBQ Ranch dipping sauce though - OMG so freaking delicious! The Quarter Brisket is the one item I would recommend. I mean brisket would be ghastly if dry and I'm happy to report it was not, but not full of flavor. Not for nothing, I was surprised the lemonade wasn't delicious! At BBQ, that seems like a cardinal sin. Nothing looked like the photos which is to be expected, but it was a bit too off in representation, and production. I can't with dry eats! Bring the moistness and you gonna bring Sarah back to try more. Smaller meat + Side + drink will run you Tried three times though and the dryness between dishes was consistent so I'll give y'all a minute before I head back to try the eats again.

This is not a sit down restaurant. It's fast casual dining near the food court at an outdoor shopping mall. You order and find a table to sit. The seating area was plentiful and kept clean by custodial staff. Service was nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the corn bread had not been prepared when we ordered at 1:30 PM (they open at 10 AM). We tried a variety of items. We enjoyed the pork ribs, baked beans and French fries. The brisket, chicken wings, sauce and banana pudding were just OK. It's worth a visit.

05/07/2025 Grand Opening today with a ribbon cutting. Cedric the Entertainer and Anthony Anderson will be there at noon for the store grand opening. Collaborating with Arby's, they have the meats served with their own BBQ sauce for each sandwich. You do have half a chicken, smoked brisket, chocolate chip cake, and banana pudding on the menu. Long lines to get in today with the two comedians at the register. Channel 7 entertainment news covering the story. If the DJ plays some tunes, it would be a great day for lunch. What did you have for lunch today?

The sandwiches were great! The bbq sauce is thick and rich and is also outstanding. The fries were ok. The star here is the sandwiches. I am not used to going to bbq joints that front smell of smoke. This joint has no smoke smell that I noticed. To be honest I think this joint is out of place . A store in hollywood would be busy. The place in century city mall in the food court doesn't have much character or charm it's good for people watching. Oh I like their home made lemon aid.

Sausage link dog

I was really hoping AC BBQ would be one of my regular choices as I'm running out of good options in the mall for affordable meals. Unfortunately, I'm not the biggest fan of their flavor profile. The link hot dog I ordered was overwhelmed with mustard, and the Mac & cheese had no texture, and ironically, not cheesy enough for me. While affordable, this doesn't hit it for me.

Food, Service, and ambiance are amazing here. The food was supremely delicious from the brisket sandwich to the brisket to the beans and the cornbread. But what struck my more than the flavors was the heart and soul of the staff working here. I've never in all my years reviewing for yelp seen a harder working staff and I showered them with as much love and respect as I could while they were preparing everything. Congrats to Anthony and Cedric on what is surely a fantastic place and to the manager and staff. They should be proud of themselves and know that teamwork makes the dream work. I highly recommend going to see it first hand and must say that Westside bbq has a new crown jewel. Thanks AC BBQ!

First time trying this place out and all I can say is that it was good and delicious. The meats were nicely cooked which was awesome compared to any other barbecue places. The service here was spot on! We were helped by one of the managers and he was very nice and helpful because we didn't know what to order but he helped us out with that on what was his favorite. The ambiance here was a little loud just because it is right next to the Food Court but that was okay. We sat somewhere else where it was a little more quiet. But overall eating for this place would be 5/5 stars. A job well done to the chefs and Managers behind the counters!

Pulled pork, cornbread, baked beans, mac n cheese, coleslaw

For mall food court food I was really impressed by the quality of AC Barbeque! This joint is a creation of Anthony Anderson and Cedric The Entertainer and located in the food court of the Century City Mall. I'm from the South, so I'd say I'm a good judge of bbq. The pulled pork was really tasty - would've loved some extra sauces to try. Coleslaw was average. Baked beans were a really good mix of sweet and smoky and the mac n cheese was exactly how I wanted it to be. Cornbread was super sweet but good and comes with butter as it should. Overall this was a great meal and easy to order whatever you want and share with a friend. It's a lot of food and the staff were really friendly. Will be back

Bludso's brisket is tender and marinated just right. While some briskets are too salty, Bludso's maintains a light and balanced flavor profile, which lets me enjoy the flavor of the beef. However, be warned that some leaner cuts might be a tad bit dry. The pork ribs were also great. although they weren't "fall off the bone" soft, it's still one of the best ones I've had in LA. The sides were also good. They weren't mind blowing but they were definitely comforting. Overall, Bludso's is a great BBQ spot that I would come to again and again. Definitely one of the best in LA. Note: I do have to say that if you're from Texas, you might not be "wow'd". Franklin BBQ in Austin is leagues above both Bludso's and Moo's (first time in my life having brisket melt in my mouth!!). But if you've never left LA, Bludso's will probably be the some of the best BBQ you've had in your life!

Food was quick, obviously made earlier But food was just barely warm. Pork ribs were good, a bit dry but tasty. Disappointed with brisket, ordered 1/4 lb, only got 4 bites, half of this $12 piece was pure fat, Sad that the cook would plate this. Brisket was okay, also also dry. Sauces were good, tasty but not memorable. For LA this is probably decent BBQ, would probably go back, but would not go out of my way. Would like to try hot fresh food on a weekend and see a wider beer selection. Didn't get a thank you or goodbye upon leaving. Bottom line: Pricey for the quality and portions, would have given 4 stars if food was warm and I left full, but price was over $50 for just me and I would have liked to eat the rest of the brisket. 1/4 Brisket $12 ** 1/4 Rack Pork Ribs $12 *** 1/2 Pint Potato Salad $7 *** IPA $8.50 *** Tax 3.85 Tip $7.80

Didn't even come around to see if we needed anything or if everything was good or not. We came here around 1:30pm on 3/16. The restroom was also out of paper towels and soap from the soda dispenser. Poor quality food! Glad I tried it, so I know to not come back again!

They state there's a lot behind the building to park at, but it looks liked you have to pay and we weren't sure which lot. So we just did street parking. We did go around 1:30 pm on a Thursday, so did not have much of an issue with finding street parking. Inside the restaurant, they have plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. There's no wait staff, so you go to the counter and order and once it's ready, they call your name/number and you pick up your tray of food from the counter. We ordered the El trio platter, which comes with 1 lbs of brisket, 1 lbs of pork ribs, 2 sausages (chili relleno and cheddar jalapeno) and 2 sides (which we chose Mac and cheese and red potato salad). We also saw the burgers from YouTube so got 2 of the Thicc burgers to share among everyone. We got a sides of the Texas chili to try. Everything was great. Our group really enjoyed the food and everyone said the BBQ was some of the best they've had. The brisket was really tender and seasoned well. Everything was seasoned well actually. The burger was great. It was soft, great flavor and was just really solid. One of the best burgers I've had. The ribs were everyone's least favorite, but that just means the other food tasted better. Ribs were still good. All the sides were delicious as well. The Texas chili was great, the Mac and cheese was creamy and the potato salad tasted homemade. We could tell it was made in house. The sweet iced tea was refreshing, not overly sweet b Overall, I'll have to come back here to try their desserts and other items. I'll for sure be getting the burger and brisket again.
