The agent - Gargi, couldn't figure out how to file my taxes properly and there were many errors during the process. I was so unconfident with our filing and my feeling wasn't wrong. After 9 month they are calling me saying I 'forgot' to submit a copy of some receipts and if I won't send it in the next week I will be charged. So I assume they lost my paperwork as I brought all my receipts during the filing. Don't be enticed by the cheaper rates. It will cost you more in the long run.

During this year I had nothing but good experiences with them (MB&T). They are knowledgeable, fast, efficient, super polite and patient. Their advise saved us a lot of tax money compared to previous years. The only thing I didn't like was having to pay for parking when I went for a meeting but to my surprise they asked for the receipt and gave me a refund. I would recommend them.

If I could give Parkdale Accounting a million stars I would, because that is what they deserve…read more As a person who has never filed their taxes before, who has issues with organization and procrastination, I am basically an accountants worst nightmare. I know this because I first went to h&r block, where after visably cringing to hear of my situation told me that I would have to contact revenue Canada (in writing) and then waiting weeks to have my information mailed to me, they would still require at least 250 bucks upfront before they could even get started. Obviously that never happened (see procrastination issue mentioned above) Then someone told me about the magical place known as Parkdale accounting. The people there are literally some of the nicest people in the universe. They made everything so simple and easy, only requesting a single t4 to get the process started, charging me a 5th of what h&r had quoted me and taking the rest out of my return. And they did it all without a single eye roll at my complete tax ineptitude. They took the time to go over anything I could bring in that they could deduct to get the best possible refund. These are people who truly understand customer service. I never once felt like an inconvenience, like I had so often in the past, and they truly made me feel welcome. Because of them and the hard work they are doing to get me a great return, I will be able to go back to school next year. I don't think I stopped smiling for about a week after I left there, and even though I don't live very close, I know I won't be going anywhere else to do my taxes next year. Highly highly highly recommend.
