I had to return to Michigan for a funeral and was looking for two SUVs to transport my family throughout the day. DTW Detroit Airport Car was the first to respond, the least expensive - several hundreds less, and the most communicative through Yelp, text, email or phone. I called him because I live in Novi, my car is down, and I need a ride to Henry Ford hospital Thursday morning. I called him to find out if he could do it, and he told me that he doesn't make local runs. If he doesn't do local runs, then he should not say that he's a Novi/Bloomfield cab or taxi service. That would be false advertising. I regard that as unprofessional. If he no longer does local runs, then he should state that he does not do local runs.
