Ms. Angie kept me updated throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind and reassured me that he was in great hands. At the time, my son had a slight speech delay. Within just two weeks of starting at Ms. Angie's DayCare, he was coming home with new words every day. He went from saying one or two words to speaking in full sentences. Not only did his speech and language improve tremendously, but he also learned Spanish, which was a huge bonus for our family! Ms. Angie's DayCare offers so many fun and engaging activities, including yoga, music, and arts and crafts. When the weather is nice, the children go on community walks and enjoy trips to the park, which my son absolutely loved. I highly recommend Ms. Angie's DayCare to any parent looking for a caring, nurturing, and enriching environment for their child. Ms. Angie, Ms. Maria, and Ms. Marisol; thank you for everything you do for the children each and every day. Your kindness, patience, and dedication truly make a difference, and we are so grateful for the love and care you've shown our son.

From the very beginning, the staff welcomed my son with open arms and made him feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. As a mother, there is no greater comfort than knowing your child is being cared for by people who genuinely love what they do, and that is exactly what I found here. The growth I have seen in my son during his time at this daycare has been incredible. He has learned so much academically, socially, and emotionally. Every day he came home with new skills, new stories, and a smile on his face. It quickly became a place he looked forward to going, and that speaks volumes about the environment the staff has created. The teachers and caregivers have always been kind, patient, communicative, and attentive. They truly treat the children as if they were their own. The love, dedication, and hard work they put into caring for each child does not go unnoticed. Although we are moving on due to financial circumstances, leaving is bittersweet because this daycare has meant so much to our family. My son has made wonderful memories here, and I will always be grateful for the role the staff played in his early childhood development. Thank you all for everything you've done for Rayan and for being such an important part of our journey. We will always look back on our time here with gratitude and fond memories. -- Chanel & Rayan

I am beyond thankful everyday for the love, the fun, the diverse learning experience and the peace of mind we have knowing our kids are in the best care possible. Lorrelie, Mr. J, Miss Jolina and the entire staff are just absolutely wonderful. They love and care about every child in their school and are constantly providing new fun ways to learn and engage. I could obviously go on and on. This school focuses on letting kids be kids and loving them for who they are. If you care about your child having a well rounded PreK experience that is family oriented, communicative, caring, trustworthy and truly cares about community this is hands down your best option in Lyndhurst...we tried other schools and looked at other options and I feel so blessed that this is where we ended up. I want to share my experience…read more... If you are a working family, especially a working mother this is NOT the place for you. Be prepared to pay over $300 and then take care of your child for weeks. Be prepared to take off lots of days. Between my husband and I, we took about 10 sick days in a span of 2 months. I would say 2 of those days were essential and I understood that my son had to stay home. They made me feel as if I was incapable of taking care of my child, or that I did not have the best interest in my child, and that I was lying just to take him to school. The director told me, "had a teacher not told you that your son had a bad cough, you probably wouldn't have done anything about it." Take this as you will, but to me this was such an insult to my capacity as a mother. My son entered when he was 6 months old, and I understood that he was going to get sick because it was his first daycare and also his older sister started 3K. I was called to pick up my son early due to a nasty cough. I completely understood why I had to get him and I brought him immediately to the doctor. The doctor reassured me that it was just a viral infection and that within 2 days he should be fine to go back to school. I even got him tested for Covd (he was negative). The daycare wanted to know exactly what he had (even though that violated our HIPPA rights). So I took him to another doctor for another opinion, she said the same thing. That it is difficult to know what exactly a baby this young has but that as long as he tested negative for covid and isn't having a fever he should be able to go to school. Not only did I have to provide a doctor's note, I also called the manager while I was at the doctor's office so that they could believe me. My son got sick again (not surprising). I did the same steps as before, took him to the doctor and got him tested for RSV, Flu. and Covid. He was tested positive for RSV. The doctor ressaured me that within 5 days he could go back to school. I kept him home an extra day just to be safe for him and everyone else. The doctor also reassured me that his cough would linger for weeks. So sure enough, I provide a note stating that he is negative for Covid and the return date. This again is not enough. They want to know the exact diagnosis and they said that they do not want any symptoms. But they also attempted to be helpful by saying that they will work with me only if his cough wasn't so alarming or consistent (very subjective). Then they started complaining about his loose stool. He is 6 months old. All he has is formula and purees. Plus he is teething. It is very normal (and again I took him to the doctor to reassure me that this was normal), for babies to get loose, sometimes very loose stools. I know I am his mother. But my son truly is the easiest calmest baby. I don't know if it was something against him or us. But it was clear to us, my doctor, and any other friends that I spoke to about this, that they wanted us out. My son was always happy when I took him and when we picked him up. The app is great and they will inform you of feedings and sleep. They will occasionally send you 1 picture a day. Sometimes they would send 2 other days they sent nothing. But the consistent witch hunt to find something wrong with my son was disturbing. He is now at a different daycare. They love him, I get multiple pictures a day, and no complaints!!!! Last time they called me during work, was to ask me what puree they can buy for my son! I had brought him when he still had his lingering cough. I explained to them what the doctor said and offered a note stating that he was no longer contagious and they completely understood.

I regret having to write this review, as a value supporting good business. But my sons experience…read morehere was far from what Dionne sold us on. On the first day of us meeting she mentioned that parents had access to cameras so that we could check in on our child being that he was first starting at the daycare. When I asked about it after enrolling him, she told me she didn't have the money to have them on because she didn't have enough students. Most of the days my son was alone. When I inquired about where the other children were, she responded with defensiveness. Bringing up pre-Covid numbers when in reality, they were very few children enrolled at her daycare. She also wouldn't allow us to show up unannounced, we needed to give her a heads up so that she could prepare. Which in my experience isn't right. Leads me to believe that she was hiding something. None of this would have been a problem wouldn't be a problem if the communication was clear and thorough. Whenever asked questions about what my son would do throughout the day it was met with aggravation and defensiveness she treated me and other family members who inquired with similar questions with the same level of distain. Her excuse was that she has several children and has been in this business for several years. I have never met a woman who works with children, who is so offended by a parents concern about their child. I have also never met a woman who works in childcare that views crying children as a problem, she was not solution oriented instead thought that a child, crying with an inconvenience to her business. There were several days where she had very limited information about what went on during our sons time at the daycare. She employed her children as well, who were also very unprofessional. There were many days where I rang the doorbell and was waiting outside with my baby and under 30° weather for 5-10 minutes, the reason being no one heard the doorbell, that is a hazard. Every time she answered the door she was on the phone as well. The children were kept in a dark room with the television on. she led me to believe that she was doing work on the rest of her house to open up the space so the children had room to play and move. That never happened either. All communication was done via text. One week she took off and close the daycare because it was her birthday and this was done last minute. This is supposed to be a family day care, and there is no professionalism warmth or familial energy at all. Save your money and your time!
