We all need insurance. That's a part of life (at least for us responsible types)…read more I used to use the online companies. It was OK, but I always felt like things were missing. I found an actual agent, but wasn't getting the fair treatment and honesty I needed. Then...I found Graves Insurance. Now my insurance costs are lower than they have ever been, better than they have ever been and when I have a question I just make a phone call and things are taken care of. This is how I envisioned insurance. I have a house, apartment, 7 cars and a motorcycle. Graves saved me over $1000 a year on my homeowners, a few hundred a year on my car insurance and made things simple as pie to understand. Now I have the confidence of being properly insured, but without the feeling I'm throwing more money towards it then I need to. Thanks to the Graves Insurance group. This is insurance done right!

I have many rental properties. I was interested in using Graves. I asked Bob for a quote. His…read moreresponse was condescending. There are many ways to turn down business from potential clients. If you are an insurance agent, I would urge you not to use the rhetoric that Bob did with me. I've never met Bob. I don't know anything about these people. His first email to me reads verbatim as follows: "Jonathon- How many other independent agencies have you contacted to write your policies? If more than just us, we politely decline. Our agency is built on trust with our clients to know that we are providing an important service for them and not just selling a policy on price. Thanks- Bob" What the--? Excuse me? Why should I trust you, Bob? Should I know about the elusive Bob by reputation? Does everybody else already know Bob? Am I missing something? I must be missing something. How did Bob get clients at all this way? I know insurance is completely necessary. That's why I reached out in the first place. It is needless to say that I won't be asking Bob for his business again in the future, not that he'd respond kindly even if I did. Save yourself the time and don't email Bob for a quote.

Advised me to obtain temporary housing during the repair project. After spending around ten thousand dollars for temporary housing, I was advised that I didn't have loss of use coverage. Bridgeman failed in their duties as my insurance company of which I've been a customer for 14 years. They told me it was my fault. I have stage 4 lung and liver cancer. This has added extreme stress to my life and is deleterious to my health. I would have never purchased homeowners insurance without a rider that would pay for loss of use. In summation I would not want this to happen to anyone. And I would never use Bridgeman insurance or Travelers insurance!

While I have had SOME positive dealings with this agent in the past , my most recent encounter has…read morenot been pleasant. I canceled my insurance effective March 13, 2022 because of a high unjustified rate increase, but the company they had me set up with (Farmers), still debited the mo. premium from my checking account that month and consequently overdrew my account because it was not supposed to happen and I didn't have sufficient funds. While my premium has been refunded, my $15 overdraft fee has NOT. The Bridgeman agent keeps telling me they have been trying to get the money back from Farmers, but it has not happened. It's my opinion that the agent should have the common courtesy to refund the $15 and then get their money back from Farmers. Consequently, I do not think I can use this agent again if they cannot even afford to refund the overdraft fee. We wound up doing better in our own in the long run.
