Our tutor has been tutoring my niece, a sophomore at Homestead High School, for the past year and a half now. We have developed a great relationship with her, and as much as I hesitate recommending her for selfish reasons (we want her all for ourselves!), she has been so great to us that I feel this is the least I could do (I'm not giving out her name though!). As most of us know, many times students run into "academic emergencies", whether it be a quiz or exam they have the next day, project overload, or any other major school-related crisis. We've had our fair share of those, and each time our tutor has been there to save the day. I mean, literally save the day. We've had her come to our house at 9:00pm the night before an exam, with a calm, understanding smile on her face, and leave an hour later with plenty of tips and words of encouragement for my niece. My niece responds very well to her encouraging style of instruction, and always goes to her exams feeling confident after tutoring sessions. I've also noticed my niece's study habits improved dramatically since we started working with our tutor. She is a lot more organized and knows how to approach difficult concepts - something she has always struggled with. Last point - I've worked with tutoring companies where we've paid 80 - 90$ an hour for a tutor (which I find ridiculous), and this company definitely does a much better job for half the price.

My daughter needed algebra 2 tutoring and we found Dana's company on yelp. She came to our house and not only answered my daughter's questions, but gave her excellent study tips to help her pass her exam. We started working with the tutor every week, and my daughter's grades improved in every class! I decided to use the tutor for my son as well, who was in chemistry honors. Overall I felt the tutors Dana provided (our tutor left for college the next year so we got another one) were excellent, the price was very, very reasonable, and the whole process was extremely convenient. We developed a great relationship with both Dana and the tutors, and I really think it made a huge impact on my kids. Their grades really improved.

I've been involved in one 2-person class but all one on one sessions otherwise. She handles both wonderfully. If you are considering learning German or if you know someone that would like to. Twice a week online, I had lessons with Frau Sweeny, and with her help, on April 10th and 12th, I passed both the A1 and A2 exams. Frau Sweeny is an excellent teacher in many ways, here are a few that stand out to me: Temperament: Although Frau Sweeny has many students, she does a great job every lesson. I always learn something new, and when I have questions from the exercises, I always get a detailed answer; she makes sure I have cleared up what I was confused about. Resourcefulness: Frau Sweeny has provided me with many exercises, worksheets, and explanations about how to use them. These were extremely helpful for me, since neither my family, nor anyone I know speaks a word of german. These resources add value to even the time spent outside of lessons. Experience: I didn't realize this until I was actually taking the speaking part of the test. Frau Sweeny and I focused a lot on the speaking part, as it's the most important in passing the test (also difficult for me to practice on my own). Many things Frau Sweeny said became very useful during the test. With her preparation, not only did I pass the A2 test, I got a perfect score on the speaking part. Unbedingt ist Frau Sweeny meine Lieblingsdeutschlehrerin!

Jalpesh shared his experience and was courteous while explaining the details like how the session will go on. He is pretty flexible looking at requirement of young children who are coming to this place to study mathematics. Shrishti is a great teacher with a firm voice and making sure young kids have the focus while doing the exercises. Yes, there are other teachers too but not all of them are high school students. It has been a month and I can see the progress.

Completely a great experience, and Leena really knocked herself out to help my reluctant math…read morestudent. My son is very bright but is nowhere near having issues with excessive ambition. I worked hard with him prior to 5th grade to get him competent in solving simple expressions with fractions. By the time school started, all this learning had somehow leaked out of his sneakers and disappeared, to my distress as well as his teacher's. Because of his math reluctance and poor retention, my son would have been starting 6th grade with a significant disadvantage. His mother and I wanted to help him catch up using a teaching service. We researched Kumon and found that, although cheaper, the focus is on all subjects and not exclusively math, and that the procedure is to have pupils do huge stacks of worksheets with relatively little teacher supervision. This would not have been a good match for my son. Leena's Mathnasium is exactly not like Kumon in that the student-teach ratio is about 1 to 1. She begins with a thorough evaluation of the student's existing math capability, she customizes a training plan for the student, and she executes the plan. At the end of the program there is a no-charge second evaluation, and what do you know? My son's math skills had significantly improved. Lastly, Leena did a pile of extra work researching math topics taught in my son's new school district, and tried hard to motivate him and prepare him for his new school Excellent work, Leena. I would recommend your service to a friend without hesitation.
