Well!! I used to live in Frankfurt, and Doener was part of my life weekly :). I recently travelled…read moreback, and this place was recommended by the neighbors.
When I told the young man that some in my party had never had a Doener, it must have been a challenge :). Look at this!
The meat was juicy, and lasted all lthe way to end of my Doener. Yes, I ate this whole thing! The vegetables were fresh, and the sauce excellent. I mention that the meat lasted all the way through my sandwich because in the States, the meat is literally on top and the rest is veggies. When I go here the next time, I am showing them what a Doener SHOULD look like.
It was still hot in Frankfurt when I visited a few weeks ago, so we sat outside to catch the breeze. Everything was very clean, and the staff was super friendly.
I am coming back on a regular basis, this will be one of my weekly stops again.
