This review was long over due because they painted my two story 2300 sq ft house about 8 yrs ago. That said, I can't rave enough about ABC painting. Their work work was very professional, methodical, and high quality. To top it off, they cost half as much as the other quotes I got. To be honest, at first I was a little hesitant because it looked like a mom and pops operation (it's actually a family run business) and English is not their first language. However, none of this mattered. It's not like a roof job or window replacements where you don't know when either of those will break down. I think with paint, I heard that it's really about the quality you can see in the trimming and the paint used. If poor quality, you can see the paint fail after 5 years or immediately just by looking at it. That is clearly not the case ABC's work on my house. They began by showing me a wide array of paint colors to choose from. Then they offered suggestions and once I settled on the color combination, we scheduled the day and time for them to start the work. Without my having to ask, they moved all items away from my house (I had a lot of junk), power washed the house, then waited a couple days for the water to dry before prepping then starting the paint work. I think it took them 3-4 days and we had no trouble getting in and out of the house. Once they finished, they put everything back the way it was except that the house looked immaculate. I referred them to 2 of my other neighbors and they too couldn't be happier. I highly recommend them. read more

Here is an amazing, meticulous, thoughtful, hard-working group of people. Lots of stucco and woodwork in our 3-story home. The prep included stucco repair of cracks and prep of weather-beaten wood. They worked with us as we replaced wood effected by dry rot, and offered perfect suggestions for bringing out the beautiful details of the house. They suggested the color palette - and it is beautiful. The quality of their work is outstanding. The pricing is very reasonable. Their skill and knowledge is excellent. I think ABC Painting is probably the best painting company that I have ever dealt with. First of all, they are meticulous and clean, second, their customer service is impeccable, and third, they do an overall excellent job. They are meticulous, which was satisfying to our obsessive compulsive "perfectionisms." For example, when Song was prepping to paint our newly installed molding, he was so careful to fill in the nail holes with putty that was dyed with color to ensure that he filled every single hole. Most painters would use white putty over the white molding to fill the holes, later realizing that they missed a few nail holes, and they would have to go back to fill them after the fact. We consistently receive compliments about the painting that Song did for us, and we are very happy with everything. We will definitely utilize ABC Painting again! I needed painting done asap because it was holding up another crew working on a different part of the house. ABC's bid was very high, but had to accept them because couldn't get another painter there quickly. They started out pressure washing. Make sure you don't let Mr Song do the pressure washing, he caused damage to my lighting and also my trex decking. I was not there during their work but when they were finished, I noticed they did not use the paint color I told them. Now I have 2 different colors of grey paint on my house. They got overspray on my roof and on various places around the house. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. read more

The fascia on the three buildings on my new property looked like chocolate shavings frosting the edges of my roof, they were peeling so badly in spots. They needed to be sealed up before the winter rains began weathering the wood beneath, so I researched painting companies. A realtor friend of mine gave me three names. ABC Painting called me back the same day, and scheduled an estimate for the very next day. The 2nd company called me back after 2-3 days, but came out same day for an estimate, and the 3rd company never bothered calling me back, so I tracked down yet another company to ensure I had a representative bid pool. Due to a scheduling conflict, I was 15 minutes late meeting with ABC Painting, but Mrs. Song, who was preparing the estimate graciously waved it off. She walked the property with me, made some calculations, and handed me an estimate. Just like that. Very efficient. Long story short, after receiving two more bids (one higher, one lower but that estimator seemed distracted as I had to keep reminding him I only needed the trim painted), I went with ABC Painting. They are fast, really fast, and they know what they are doing. There was a small misunderstanding when I spot checked their progress after the first few hours and noticed their prep work consisted of scraping the old, peeling paint, but not sanding or patching, before painting it with primer and latex. But after clarifying with Mrs. Song, the paint crew meticulously sanded all rough edges and filled cracks as needed, creating a noticeably smoother finish. So, just make sure ABC spells out exactly what their prep work includes for your job, and you'll be in very good and experienced hands. All three of my buildings look brand new now, and are all sealed up against the coming winter rains. I'll be posting before and after photos in the next few days... read more

Can't review the quality of their work - just the reliability of their customer service. I made an appointment for a paint estimate today at 12 noon - AND had to take the morning off from work because of it. 12:30 rolls around.... Nobody shows up nor phones. I call at 12:30 for an update, explain that I've been waiting for 30 minutes and am told "oh.... Can we reschedule for a later time?" Seriously?? I don't care how great of a paint job they do or how reasonable their prices are - that utter lack of regard for customer service isn't going to get my time, energy or money!! they owe me a half days wage!!!! read more

These people are incredibly efficient, they really know how to get a job done. I feel like we only talked for about 5 minutes but covered all the details, they came by, took notes on my swatches, took my key and left. Next time I heard from them the job was pretty much done already, and it was done exactly how I wanted it. They got the doors, ceilings, trim, everything it took to fix the place up nice. I am so thrilled. The home I bought was fairly trashed by the last tenant and it is so beautiful now thanks to them. read more

ABC Painting did a great job painting both the interior and exterior of our house. We were new to the neighborhood in a new house (new to us) and decided to give the house a new paint job. It changed the look of the house completely. It went from a dingy white to a beautiful blue. The house looked so good with the new paint job. The paint job also improved the look and feel of the inside of the house as well. We got so many compliments from our neighbors. One neighbor said it looked like a brand new house. Another neighbor said we are really doing a great job taking care of the house which I thought it was funny because we haven't been able to do much to the yard yet (if anything it's sadly gotten more weedy)... the only thing we really did do to the house so far is paint it. :) ABC Painting really did a great job. We were surprised and happy at their attention to detail. Sue was really good at suggesting/ helping us narrow down the choices for not only the main color of the interior of rooms and exterior of the house but also if and what color we could/should paint the trim of both the interior and exterior. They also helped us in deciding to paint the front and back doors a contrasting darker blue which came out looking so cute!! They have so many colors to chose from and so many hues within each color it was great having their help in finding colors that were appropriate for the outside, vs colors that might be good for the inside. Also, they helped us chose the texture of paint and helped us in deciding on flat texture for the interior and semi gloss for trims, doors, and kitchen etc. We are so happy with the work ABC Painting did on our house.
