Dr. Burrows was a great pleasure in meeting for the first time. He was very caring, and thorough in explaining with great detail the procedure of front crowns. Thank you, Dr Trent Bevans! I came to Abbey Dental looking for braces to stop my teeth from colliding--happens with crooked teeth and age--but when Dr Bevans saw my X-ray, he told me I was not a candidate for braces because of bone loss. However, he had a plan. At the next scheduled appointment, Dr Bevans began shaving the wings off the front two and the backs of the intruding teeth next to them. After that he began reconstruction of these teeth. About and hour and a half into his work, his wife and out of town friends popped by (no doubt to pick him up for lunch.) He spoke briefly with them and went right back to work. I was impressed. The whole time Dr. Bevans worked I wondered how this was going to turn out. I'm old, I'm lop-sided, I'm not anything to look at. What kind of job would he think I was worth? Three hours and one exhausted dentist later--believe me, it wasn't an easy job--he was finished. I couldn't believe the beautiful work. I couldn't believe the price. And I couldn't believe how polite and friendly Dr Bevans was after the ordeal I must have put him through (fear of dentists from my childhood leaves me arched and praying etc. through the whole thing). The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. My hygienist was unbelievably gentle yet, very thorough and she educated me on so many things I didn't know. Dr. Bevans was also very gentle and informative. He was direct and helpful on what needed to be done to keep my teeth healthy. read more
