I did 2 follow up appointments from out of town via wheelchair transport. Never saw doctor and they didn't do anything.

This does not deserve the one star posted. As a nurse let me assure you of two things. Any stay…read morein a hospital, or visit to a physician's appointment requires no physical ID nor do they need your social security number (fair collections act "us.gov" never give it out but to anyone other than your employer), and they dam sure don't need an open ended credit card "for what the insurance does not pay". You have write offs, with your insurance, they are supposed to honor. They are also requires to file your insurance if the test they are doing, are not covered, then perhaps they should ask themselves why. Better for patients to ask themselves why. Nor should you give $750-3000 dollars to someone, to hold to assure your account at a doctors office, like we were told on two separate occasions. I have seen and known of staff through nursing board newsletters of staff getting credit cards in patients names, stealing money from accounts, using social security numbers for Illegitimate means, in an age of computers where no information is protected, you have no assurance that it will be at anytime, and neither does this office. Thirdly when you call to ask about your copay and your told its $60, they then, tell you on a call back it has been approved through insurance so the long journey is not wasted, and then they pull the above! Well that is unethical, unprofessional, and not what Doctors do. Send the bill show me you have adjusted it to the insurance, show me the charges for a test, and show me the written write off. You still make a lot of money off of copays and insurance. Ethically your supposed to treat people no matter what, yet since you can't do that then the way you practice should be known, because no one, and I mean no one should give you open payment options that could be abused or used illegally especially in the age of scams. Nor should money come before patient care.

When I want back several months later for the results, the MD I saw gave me a diagnosis. One I already had been given at least 10 years ago. When I asked her for a copy of the test, she blatantly refused. I was told I was Notable to have it shebhad read it accurately! I Wanted the report and scan because I see other Doctors not just my PCP. The final touch was the bill for her reading . My insurance Medicaid and Medicare as you all know took care of that. I did not pay that bill, as sent to collections . I did inform Both my insurances of the problem and was also told not to pay it. Lastly I was uninvited from that practice. They need not have worried, I would never return or recommend the practice nor physician who was filled with attitude!

After they left I was in excruciating pain. I called the nurse crying to ask if I could have more pain meds. She said I could have 5 hours before. When I asked why hadn't gotten it, she said I had to asked for it. This was my 6th spine surgery and have never had to ask for pain meds. It was brought to me and asked if I wanted it. She suggested I set a timer on my phone because she had so many patients to look after, she couldn't keep track of all of their meds. I talked to the night nurse about getting pain meds and said I wanted to be woke up for pain meds. He did not and ended up going 9 hours without pain meds. After that I set a timer day and for meds but never did get a handle on my pain after that. I always had to have help to use the restroom. I always took a very long time for someone to come. One night I rang 3 times and waited almost an hour for help. One night the aide helped me to the toilet, sat me down and was told to pull the string when I was done and he left. I pulled the string and it took him quite awhile to come back and help me back to bed. It just seemed like I was a nuisance to the nurses when they had to care for me. If given a choice, I will never return there and would advise anyone to choose somewhere else to be treated!

Please beware of Robin Heinrichs if you are considering her for an evaluation of a family member or…read moreanyone you care about. Our story is too long to share here, but the bottom line is she made recommendations that were not realistic or viable and went against medical doctors advice that my Dad live in a care home for his own safety as well as my Mom's. Her evaluation of my Dad did not include speaking to all members of our family. Without speaking to our Mother who has been married to our Dad for 59 years and was his primary caretaker for the last 3-4 years as his mental state declined, she recommended that our Dad was capable of making his own decisions and could live outside of a care facility with a sibling that hasn't spent more than a few hours with our Dad in the last 4-5 years. He spent one night with this sibling and fell on his way to the bathroom hitting his head. The person that Robin Heinrichs recommended my Dad live with is now refusing to let my Dad live with him because he didn't realize how hard it would be. Duh. I think she acted irresponsibly by providing recommendations my Dad wanted but took zero steps to confirm if his wishes were realistic. So now we have no place for my Dad and the hospital wants to discharge him. She along with our Dad's attorney from Kansas Legal Services created this mess. Please think twice before engaging this person to 'help' anyone you care about. My parents paid $4,000 for an evaluation that was proven inaccurate in less than 24 hours.
