The deals are pretty good, you can rent up to 3 movies for $5 or even buy 3 good condition/popular movies for $15. Cyrus, the owner is always nice and even offers free "happy hour" where free coffee, pastries, popcorn, or candy is free w/ any rental or purchase since it is the 25 year anniversary. Wish it was discussed before hand or right when it happened but definitely need better supervision with VR from the Gamers Luxury Team.

When I arrived I told the woman named London (738458) that I had 5 trade-in's as the gentleman said it was ok to do. Almost immediately she starts raising her voice and saying that I can't stack. I told her that I was aware and was going to make 5 separate transactions. I brought my boyfriend and 3 children. With the same tone she continued to talk down to me and says that she doesn't take toys but the posters were ok. Again she proceeds to tell me that I can't stack and that it's 18 and over only that can trade, no children. The gentleman that I spoke to earlier apologizes to me for his mistake and I understood. As I continued to ask her questions to make sure I understood how trade ins work she continued to raise her voice, almost yelling. My anxiety started kicking in and asked her to stop talking to me in that manner, I was simply asking questions to better understand. I requested the gentleman to help me and she said, "no, I'm the manager and he's in training!" I had to ask her a total of two times to stop raising her voice at me for her to stop. On the inside I was on the verge of wanting to cry. I pretended like what she did didn't bother me just so I can get items as they were gifts. I was embarrassed with the treatment, especially in front of my family. My two boys only aged 9 and 11. Please change this behavior of hers. Negative attitude like that will be the downfall of the rest of the GameStop stores. I recently renewed my membership and would hate for that to happen. Although it does cost a little bit to grade cards, the overall process was pretty quick and easy. The store itself was super clean, all the staff were very kind, and the selection was good. I'm so glad I did. This location is very unassuming. You might pass it without even realizing it as it's in a very nondescript office space area near the airport. But once you walk in, you can easily be overwhelmed with the sheet volume of inventory they have. It was great to see! I will say they tend to favor older issues and most of them are only semi organized in long boxes so you might have to do some flipping through to find things, but I guarantee you will be rewarded. I was able to come across several back issues that I had been looking for and some I didn't know I had been looking for. And when I asked them if they had any other variants from the series I had bought from them off eBay, they happily pulled out a long box from the back full of them that they flipped through and let me hand pick what I needed. That was some fantastic customer service. Even on a busy day like FCBD. Speaking of customer service, the two workers who were there were so incredibly friendly and helpful. From talking to my 3 young sons who were with me to chatting about what I was looking for and how I could find it. I was really impressed. I have a feeling that if it wasn't so busy, they would've walked over and searched with me just because they care that much. Honestly, if I didn't live in Los Angeles, this would become my local shop hands down. They Wouldn't accept my return on an unused, brand new with tags item because I didnt have my receipt. I understand my responsibility to have a proof of purchase. However to not even have an exchange or store credit offered when clearly the item still had their original price tags on it is absurd. They could have issued me store credit, charged a restocking fee, and they would still have us as customers. Store credit would not only guarantee a return customer, but it would also show ' good faith ' and appreciation to their customers. We wont be returning. And im sure thats exactly what they wanted given how they treat people.
