WARNING TO DEPOSITORS: UNPROFESSIONAL EXECUTIVE BREACH AND CONSUMER INTIMIDATIONIf you keep your…read morehard-earned savings at Farmers State Bank of Alto Pass, you need to be aware of the hostile, predatory tactics being executed at the absolute highest level of their management.Executive President Charles Holland explicitly refused to honor mandatory Visa network cardholder consumer protections (Visa Reason Code 13.1 for a documented merchant non-delivery), openly telling me that he blocked the dispute simply because the bank would "just be out the money." He condescendingly dismissed my consumer rights, used a highly unprofessional and abrasive tone, and explicitly told me that I "should have just taken store credit vouchers" from a merchant that delivered an unlivable, unsafe space. Most egregiously, when I challenged his non-compliance by referencing my active federal regulatory files, Mr. Holland weaponized his corporate banking authority and explicitly threatened to close my bank account in retaliation. When informed he could not legally terminate a depositor's account to silence a whistleblower under active federal oversight, he arrogantly replied verbatim: "Yes I can." He then carried out his threat and abruptly closed my bank account.Shutting down a consumer's account to destroy their access to transactional evidence and punish them for filing regulatory complaints is a severe violation of federal UDAAP standards. This matter is currently under active escalation with the FDIC, the Illinois State Portal , the CFPB, and an impending civil filing in the Union County Circuit Court. If you value professional customer care, transparency, and the safety of your deposit rights, stay far away from this institution under its current management track.
