In my mind, the perfect cafe perfectly captures the "third place" concept - cozy enough to feel like home. I think the Dutch call that vibe - 'gezellig'. Finally, because I am also slightly basic, the perfect cafe must be insta-worthy from the design of its store to the plating of its food and coffees. Sand's, Cakes and Bubbles is a perfect cafe. From the cozy decor, to the menus hung cutely on clothing hangers, to the beautifully garnished food and drinks, everything about Sand's Cakes and Bubbles is insta-worthy and gezellig to the power of lekker. D) It's adorable and very cozy. E) I'm pretty sure it faces the part of the square where they used to hang people.
