Absolute disgrace. Beg anyone to give you a lift rather than rely on these rude jokers. You'd be better off hitchhiking, which is what we had to do to not miss our flight.
I was told by my hotel to use the fixed line to AAA Taxis for an early morning drop off at the airport. At 11am the day before our flight home I called and booked the trip. My other half suggested I call again that evening to double check. I was then told, 'No, he shouldn't have said that - we don't do bookings at all'(!?). They said to instead call 30 mins before we need to go (at 5:40am), 'So I have to get up 30 minutes earlier?", "That's right". I asked THREE TIMES, if they would definitely have cars available, "Oh, yes we have plenty of cars down there".
The next morning at 5:10 I called, "No, I have no cars. Not for at least an hour".
"Are you kidding me!? Jesus Christ we're going to miss our flight. You swore you'd have a car for us". He hangs up on me, I call back and me hangs up on me again. He then hangs up on the hotel security guard after he asks how soon they could actually get a car for us.
The dutiful security guard took pity on us when I begged him to find anyone with a car - a waiter or whoever to give us a lift. He got his son to cover for himself, and he drove us to the airport. Top man.
AAA Taxis is the kind of business that doesn't deserve to survive. I sincerely hope they go bust so that they can't continue to be a menace to people and cause such grief and miss flights etc. Various reviews on here share how rude management are on the phone, how they've left people stranded, and been racist. I believe everyone of them. The Joker pops up to post a reply arguing that the reviews are fake or unfair. You are a disgrace. read more
