got a taxi today when it arrived to sycamore drive ennis co clare out the Limerick road the taxi driver I got was an extremely rude and unproffesional man under the name of JOHN NAUGHTON , when he arrived at sycamore drive , he was half way across the estate talking to a business man about lawing and cleaning his garden he was there for 5 minutes so I walked across the road to him hopped in and told him I have 10.50 and could he bring me as far as possible as I had work and im a very loyal customer to aaa taxi I use them 5 times a week as there taxi rank is across from my work he the rate of the taxi was 7 euro when I hopped on before even driving he gave me nothing but abuse cursed at me saying he was going to leave me at the side of the road saying it wasnt enough money and in his words he said hes not out to be doing ducking charity work I was shaking over his aggressive tone and all the abuse that ended me having a panick attack in work for 20 minuets he told me when we arrived at my work place across from apache pizza as I work in silver oak Indian ennis to get out of his car and never ring his company again , so I said ok I'll spend my money else where he replied well you don't have any money and laughed , I have some of the abuse on record it was around 5pm Monday 2nd of June I was not but polite to this man and bare in mind he owns have of aaa taxi Company I've never been so scared in a taxi it drove me to a 20 minute panick attack inside of work and my bosses are there to prove it JOHN NAUGHTAN I will be going further about this , and I will plaster your name around the whole town such a horrible experience and horrible man , I will never use aaa again and either will my family or friends so disappointed as I've benn using aaa for years . Absolute disgrace. Beg anyone to give you a lift rather than rely on these rude jokers. You'd be better off hitchhiking, which is what we had to do to not miss our flight. I was told by my hotel to use the fixed line to AAA Taxis for an early morning drop off at the airport. At 11am the day before our flight home I called and booked the trip. My other half suggested I call again that evening to double check. I was then told, 'No, he shouldn't have said that - we don't do bookings at all'(!?). They said to instead call 30 mins before we need to go (at 5:40am), 'So I have to get up 30 minutes earlier?", "That's right". I asked THREE TIMES, if they would definitely have cars available, "Oh, yes we have plenty of cars down there". The next morning at 5:10 I called, "No, I have no cars. Not for at least an hour". "Are you kidding me!? Jesus Christ we're going to miss our flight. You swore you'd have a car for us". He hangs up on me, I call back and me hangs up on me again. He then hangs up on the hotel security guard after he asks how soon they could actually get a car for us. The dutiful security guard took pity on us when I begged him to find anyone with a car - a waiter or whoever to give us a lift. He got his son to cover for himself, and he drove us to the airport. I sincerely hope they go bust so that they can't continue to be a menace to people and cause such grief and miss flights etc. Various reviews on here share how rude management are on the phone, how they've left people stranded, and been racist.
