If I could give AAA 0 stars I would. I got a flat tire off a dirt road in the Michigan U.P. around 10 pm trying to make it to our resort to stay at for the night. I called AAA immediately knowing that we did not have a car jack big enough to lift our truck (we only had factory jack that came with it). We were initially told that AAA's ETA would be only an hour. After waiting over an hour past their ETA and no communication back from AAA I decided to call customer service. After another hour I was finally connected to customer service just for the rep to tell me that they actually never got ahold of anyone to come help us and no one was ever on their way. He said there was nothing he could do but a dispatch would call me within 2 hours.
What the hell do you mean I've been waiting for four hours just to get through to a rep who finally informs me that they can't get anyone out to help?!
Anyways some generous yoopers came to the rescue with three car jacks and a "donkey kick" to the flat/ stuck tire and saved us.
It's now 7 hours past the time AAA said that they would have some one call me and I still haven't heard from them. read more
