The service is good but can be slow as they get extremely busy at times due to the special offers they often promote like 2 for 1's. The prices are good especially if you can get one of these deals.

Beautiful scenic views surround this hotel. First thing to mention is that you can see the great…read moreblue sky, the wonderful tide, the relaxing beach, and the gorgeous sunset. One tough challenge is that it is on the top of a hill hence the name. It is a steep incline so if you are not in shape, then I recommend a different location. You can take the funicular down to the the carpark and the hotel has parking as well. It's close to many buses and you can visit nearby areas. Everyday, there was an option of full English breakfast (with meat or vegetarian) or porridge or cereal. They had hot coffee and tea prepared daily when asked. In our rooms, there were tea biscuits and cookies as well as a kettle and also some milk and coffee packets (caf and decaf). There was also an ability to place dinner requests by 4 pm to dine downstairs each evening. On the first floor, there was a room filled with games and puzzles and also another one with a chess board and relaxing arm chairs. The only downside was that it's an old Victorian home so you can hear your neighbors walking, talking, and pretty much living.

My experience has been different to the other commenters here. The three members of staff who have…read moreserved me over the last week in Barnstaple's O2 shop have each been friendly and knowledgeable when investigating phones, buying a phone, and then addressing an issue with an incorrect SIM card. Perhaps they've had a change of staff, or a particular staff member is at fault here? One thing I will say you can be waiting a while in the shop when it's busy. And if an alarm is going off, it can be incredibly annoying. That being the case, I've left and come back later.
