I took my son here for issues with his hip and pain in his foot. The front office staff was really nice and helpful with any questions I had. Vihangi (the Physical Therapist and owner) was amazing to work with. She made my son feel at ease, asked him questions regarding what he was feeling which made my 11 year old feel like a grown up. The appointment wasn't rushed and she explained a lot of things and answered whatever questions we had. Vihangi also gave him exercises to do at home to help his issue. I'm not one to immediately be impressed by doctors, nurses, PT's, etc. because I have come across many who are there to just get their hours done and leave, but the good ones always go the extra mile and Vihangi definitely did. Unfortunately, I have a lot of joint, muscle and bone issues and I started undergoing surgery and physical therapy at a very young age. I have seen a lot of physical therapists at many various clinics over the years and the results have been hit and miss. Some physical therapists treat arthritis/bursitis/tendonitis issues with a very cookie cutter method that is not patient dependent, while other practitioners take the time to evaluate and form a plan that works for each patient. When the issues with my hip became overwhelming last year I decided I needed more help, so I reached out to A1. My first appointment was an evaluation, only and it was unlike any PT appointment I had ever had. Vihangi Singh was so thorough and asked so many questions that I had never been asked before about my movements, my pain and my lifestyle (and I have been asked a lot of questions by a lot of physicians) that I was a little surprised and impressed. We agreed on a two week course of guided PT and then a recheck. I was able to schedule more appointments easily and came back two days later. The PT I worked with was kind and responsive to my pain. I was given home exercises and was able to work on my hip issues everyday on my own. After three appointments I had to stop going because there was a billing issue and is the reason for the four stars: A1 is not a preferred provider for our insurance company, but a secondary provider. I asked the front office staff what the cost of a visit would be and they could not tell me. I called my insurance company and they told me I needed a billing code, so I called A1 and they had no idea what the billing codes were, but they provided me with the phone number of their billing office. I called the billing office who was extremely confused as to why a patient was calling them and suggested I call A1's office manager. I called A1 back and the front office staff asked the office manager who again told me that they had no idea what a visit would cost, but a bill should be coming shortly in the mail. I waited two months for my bill (my appointments were in mid October and I received my bill on December 19th). Three appointments under my insurance cost $51.73. Now that I know the cost I would happily schedule again with A1 and have recommended them to other people with the caveat that they are very clear about billing and their insurance coverage before they start treatment. read more

Due to severe pain in her lower back, spine, and other areas, my wife went here for several sessions conducted by the owner. I accompanied her for the first session, and then sat in the waiting room from then on. Things looked legitimate. After these sessions, my wife's pain did not subside, and she went back to her medical provider for further consultation. As far as A1, the only problem was the owner stated that she would send my wife's therapy records to her medical provider ASAP. However, this was not done and is the reason for this score. In the world of health care, all entities must cooperate and work together for the best outcomes, but A1 tripped up in this regard. read more
