And occasionally sliding. Not rubbing. Their fingers on my back. I kept waiting for the massage to start. I've been dealing with severe muscle cramps. And was hoping this would help. I finally got up. Git dressed and left. Person would not leave the room while I dressed. Had her boss on the phone. Saying I had more time. What I had. Was $70 stolen from me. No massage at all. Not even the start of a massage. If you need a good massage in Dubuque. Go to China foot massage on jfk. You will be treated correctly. And not robbed. Stay as far away from this place as you can. Individual on line was extremely difficult to understand, however I presented 10 min prior to my appt time. There was a price list hanging in waiting room indicating $60+ dollars for one hour massage. I referenced their advertised price, however was informed that was for a foot massage. I obviously declined the treatment, and on the way out of building, walked by the sign to check if I had been mistaken. I had not, as there was no indication that the advertised price of $29 was for a foot vs body massage. Disappointed, as I thought I would give them a try.

Next I wanted a 90 min massage come to find out who I was making it for was in a time crunch and wouldn't be able to do that soI asked for a 60 min, again Jesse worked with me and said that would be fine, she would work as long as time permitted. Much to my disappointment (and the person I was making the appointment for) the person was not able to go at all because of something that came up. So in a nutshell Jesse worked with me above and beyond so much more than anyone else would have. I can't say enough good things about my experience and the true understanding and patience Jesse had with me! I hope to be able to get a Body Balance Massage in the near future! Thank you so much Jesse!

I have been going to Refika every month for 2+ years now. If that doesn't say anything, I don't…read moreknow what does. She is a very talented and knowledgeable Massage Therapist. One thing I love and appreciate about Refika is her versatility. She has given me multiple types of massages from relaxation and deep tissue to Ashiatsu and cupping. I love them all and each time before my massage we talk about my trouble areas and what would be the best treatment for my appointment. I have back problems and she is one of the only Massage Therapists I have seen where she has successfully worked out my knots and gave me relief. I typically get a deep tissue massage, but I like to incorporate new techniques as well. I recently tried Ashiatsu and Refika was great with that as well. For me the difference between the deep tissue and Ashiatsu is deep tissue is more precise smaller strides working certain muscles and the Ashiatsu is the long wider strides up and down the body. If I want a massage with a lot of precise pressure I would do deep tissue, and if I wanted something more relaxing I would choose Ashiatsu. Another technique Refika does is Cupping. I was a little skeptical at first since I've seen pictures of people getting bruises and marks on their body and I didn't want to have those. I decided to try it and immediately I didn't care if I had marks or not. It was the best and really helped with my troubled areas. Before Refika would work on one of my knots she would use a stationary cup first to loosen up the muscle, then she would release the cup and finish the muscle off with deep tissue pressure. Let's just say I will be incorporating cupping into every massage of mine from now on. If you haven't gotten a massage from Refika yet, I highly advise it. She's the best.
