We absolutely LOVE his teachers, Ms. Hailey and Ms. Storm, and the way they love on my little guy. They pay attention to the little things and it's a blessing to not have to sit at work and worry if your kid is in good hands. My son started here when he was 13 months and then we moved to the Kid Ranch's San Marcos location when he was 18 months. I love how clean they keep the building and the classrooms, how they pray with my child before meals, the artwork they do each day and best of all the app they use to keep us parents in the communication loop. It makes my day to get a picture of my son over the app during my work day, watching him play during splash days. The teachers here are happy and strong role models for the kids. The administrative staff is always available for questions from me and my husband, both at drop off and pick up. We're going to deeply miss the Kyle location as we move to San Marcos but we're confident that whatever the future holds for Kid Ranch in Kyle, it will be a good one.

Worst part was that the directing assistant only told the parent about this in passing. The child should have been removed from the daycare but when the director herself was addressing the notion of this child being removed from the daycare, I was told that she would have no where to go. While the gentle, loving gesture of not removing the child was a nice sentiment, a child keeping another child from breathing is DANGEROUS. THE CLASSMATE WAS NOT BREATHING. The problem was not addressed appropriately and that is why I would not suggest this daycare to anyone

Don't have a sleepy child, a cranky one, an over stimulated one or a crying one! That child will be mistreated. I would not reccomend this daycare ! unless you are ok with physical intimidation tactics on your child, (pinching, pulling, snatching, ignoring, as well as verbally intimidating) otherwise stay away from Children's Lighthouse

Fast forward a few years--and another child later--it turned out to be one of the best decisions we've ever made as parents. The director and her team are truly one of a kind. If we ever have an issue, we can bring it up, and they handle it with care. At the same time, when the director challenges us as parents to work on things with our kids, we know it comes from a place of support and partnership. Both of our children have grown so much in their learning and development; and they aren't even in preschool yet! From learning manners to potty training to building social skills, this place has been incredible. Our kids love the director, but they also respect her and her team, which speaks volumes about the balance of warmth and structure they provide. No place or person is perfect, but if you're looking for a team that fosters structure, growth, learning, and genuine care for your children, this is the place. We couldn't recommend the director and her team more highly.

I tried to give them grace because my child had been there for awhile and made friends and wanted to try to be understanding. Their teacher retention was terrible!!! Never a consistent teacher. They Rarely follow the curriculum they post! My 3 yr old hardly everrrrr had art work and when asked the director said it's hard to get that age group to sit. Ms jessica in the baby/1yr class has no problem doing it! It was hard to go from the amazing care Jessica provided to mediocre AT BEST! potty training there was even more ridiculous. My child would have NO accidents all weeekend and since they have No restrooms in the 2s class so they would let the kids pee themselves because the teachers needed to wait for another teacher to come and take them to RR since they didn't go during the scheduled potty break and they needed to learn to go on the teachers schedule. SMH! They had my child outside in her SOCKS due to letting her pee herself 3x in a day because of not having RRs in classrooms and when I brought it up why didn't they just put her in another class they were short staffed and at ratio. Don't bring up ANY issues because the director will gaslight you. The director lacks the ability to EVER take accountability for ALL the issues that happens in her daycare. Blames the teachers, makes excuses and tries to manipulate the issues. SHE IS RUDE and doesn't care to be professional AT ALL when issues with your child are upsetting. No empathy at all. I witnessed a teacher push a kid to the ground-all the did was move my child classes because she wasn't the one who it happened too. Teachers are allowed to eat the children's food without serving the kids extra first. Another issue I witnessed and addressed-nothing was done to the teacher. I had to constantly watch the cameras to ensure she was even being fed-they missed her on more than 1 occasion. I have screenshots bringing it up multiple times but I'm the problem? Their lunch choice are awful! Black beans mixed with bs EVERY Monday-it's pure SLOP. Or Black eyes peas & coleslaw/salad for a meal every week. My child was constantly starving. During summer camp activities-they made my child SIT ON THE CURB and watch other kids play in foam party/bubbles-all because she "didn't have clothes" when THEY DIDNT check HER CUBBY. The director said it was my husband's fault for not telling them she had clothes?? My fault for not calling either. Not one teacher took accountability or showed empathy that it was their mistake-not one sorry. Excuse and putting the blame on me. The assistant director supposedly didn't have the number to corporate when I asked for it. I've tried to call corporate and left multiple messages and never received a response. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE!!!!

The parents should be aware that not…read moreonly is it soon to be sold, but the turnover that "all daycares experience" and "training new teachers" seems to happen nearly on a monthly basis here. I won't name names (the owners know who they are), It's like any other failing company: It begins from the top down. Take a good hard look beyond the facade and a couple positive reviews on this platform. Do you really trust three or four reviews in several years for your child anyway? You may like what you see on the surface but likely because there is a significant lack of decent programs in this area. Older children may not be as affected but the 1-3 age group is undeniably neglected. The "owner" who seems to carry this flag in some altruistic manner is not only rude, but a complete flop. Never present in almost a year we have only met upper management twice. If there was ever an issue to discuss, good luck addressing it. Yes. These facilities are for sale and probably will be sold to a different management group for the same reason they couldn't keep staff there. We quickly began to feel uncomfortable leaving our child here. I care VERY little of a company's "difficulties", especially if it is to keep staff employed. Staffing isn't staffing when it comes to the well being of your child. To them this means employees. To you this means leaving your child with a stranger. If this is in the 1-3 age group who can't speak for themselves I take this very seriously. A stranger to you, and a stranger to your child. This happened all too often. Most of the permanent teachers are decent, who just so happened to call in sick more often than not. Likely because of a lack of resources and poor management. Personally, I don't give a ---- about excuses, Especially when it comes to my children. At this age group, when I leave my child in the care of someone else, I expect them to be taken care of by the same people each and every day, or at least individuals they know so that they (and we) feel safe and comfortable. This is why we're no longer there. It is your child that stays here, not you. We experienced teachers (subs) who not only left us feeling uncomfortable, but were downright reportable. Never under any circumstances should a day care operate in the manner that they have. Particularly worse than that, the management staff (if you can find them) is not capable of managing this. If any staff remains by the time they finish treating everyone like garbage, your child won't see yet another stranger. As a customer you are a number and god willing you will get help that you may seek with the buyout. Good luck to them in the future, though I don't really mean that. If good intentions are what they seek, they wouldn't have neglected their business, especially a business where the well being of our sons and daughters are at stake. A very holier than thou attitude by management and a reason most staff is jumping ship. Customer beware.

They have certified teachers in every classroom, bi-lingual staff, as well as usage of ASL with infants. Their low student/teacher ratio means children often get one-on-one attention and are cared for as individuals, not as a massive herd. I've always known her to be kind, hardworking, and a lovely person all-round! She truly values her role, and it's exemplified in the effort she puts into making TMC one of the best daycare centers in our community. One of my favorite things about TMC is that it's an inclusive center, where children with special needs are educated together with their neurotypical peers. It's wonderful to have children of all backgrounds come together at such an early age, allowing for better communication and social skills, stronger empathy, and an appreciation of diversity at such a pivotal age. I highly recommend The Morgan Center if you want to ensure your little ones receive the best care possible, in a loving environment that focuses on education, emotional development, and inclusion.
