I read the review by Tabitha H. and although Bill Gates has passed away I still want to share a…read morevery positive experience which I think might hep put Ms. H's in a proper light. My family saw Bill for approximately 8 years before he passed. He was one of the most kind, caring, and understanding counselors to walk the face of the Earth. I can also share that on several instances Bill stuck his neck out for my kids. He made court appearances, spoke to custody evaluators, wrote letters, and even made a report of abuse to DHS based on something my children brought up in therapy. First thing I want to say about Ms. H's review is her claim that Bill "didn't believe" in reporting is categorically false. As I said, he made a report after a therapy session with my kids. If he didn't believe in it why would he do that? Also, Colorado law states, "A report is required when a mandatory reporter has reasonable cause to know or suspect that a child has been subjected to abuse or neglect or has observed the child being subjected to circumstances or conditions that would reasonably result in abuse or neglect." If Bill had "reasonable cause to know or suspect" I have no doubt he would have reported. This phrase allows for some discression of the reporter. If they hear a claim of abuse (especially in a highly contested case) they can consider the totality of the circumstances in determining what is reasonable cause. I have no doubt that if Bill truly believed a child was being harmed he would report it as he did with my family. Second, I looked up Bill's license on DORA. His license has been active since 2012 meaning it was active at the time Ms. H complained about the credentials links on his website. She must have known this when she posted her review because she implied that she made some complaints about his "violations" with the board. You have to look up the licensee in order to make a complaint. Her review kind of suggests that there was something shady with Bill's licensure and that is just completely inaccurate. Perhaps some of the links on his website didn't work but anyone can drop his name in on the DORA website. The DORA website also clearly states "There is no Discipline or Board Actions on file for this credential." While Ms. H may have actually made several complaints the above sentence means none of them came to fruition. There were no findings against Bill and I can tell you that the Board looks into all complaints. So either Ms. H didn't actually report any violations or she did but the board didn't substantiate them. Lastly, her review strongly suggests that Bill testified in Court as part of a proceeding involving herself and her ex-husband who she refers to as "her abuser". While I can't say anything about that, the fact that mental health professionals are often drawn into legal conflicts can make them the target of the person who is adversely impacted by their testimony. This certainly seems to be the case here. If this was some sort of divorce or custody proceeding in which Bill's testimony helped bring about an end that Ms. H didn't like then her review of Bill should be taken with a grain of salt.

The receptionist had no idea what I was talking about. But eventually she did schedule me for a free evaluation Zoom appt. First I had to fill out an EXTENSIVE and overly nosy survey online before they would allow me to have this appointment. And then the time came for the Zoom appt, and I waited for the meeting to start, called after 15 minutes and was encouraged to keep waiting, waited another 15 minutes, called again and was told that "her appointment had run late and now she's in another appointment so could we reschedule?" I told them to forget it and could they please delete all that personal information that I had given them when I spent a half hour filling out their survey. Very unprofessional, very rude, won't try again.

After having multiple head injuries and being told by a neurologist (who couldn't have cared less about me) that they couldn't see what was wrong with my brain, I figured I was lost. If it couldn't be seen on an MRI apparently I had nothing wrong with me. I sat down with Zoe and she did testing on me. When it was done she looked at the results and was able to pinpoint (off the digital pictures) where my brain was injured, how severely and what my brain was or was not doing. She showed me areas of my brain that should be active and yet it looked like someone just turned out the lights in that part of my brain. She finally was able to confirm the brain injuries I had and was able to show me proof that what I was feeling and experiencing was real and not just in my head. I wish I could tell you what it felt like to not only have someone finally listen to me, but to believe me, believe in me and confirm what I was feeling. I've been treating with Zoe and her staff for a while now and I can tell you that when I treat on a continual basis I feel the difference. My headaches aren't as severe. My concentration is better. My anger doesn't feel like it's so prevalent. I feel better all around. I am eternally grateful to Zoe and her staff for all the work they've put in, for the caring attitudes they have and for treating me like part of their family. God blessed me so much by helping me find Neuro Hope. You guys are truly amazing and I appreciate everything you have done for me!
