My son bought my husband and I a gift certificate for Christmas from Groupon. I have called left several messages for someone to call me and I have not received a call back. I literally have called this place and lmvm at leat 15 times. It sucks because my son just spent his money on something we can't use I would not support this business at all. If you haven't been to a spa or have thought about going, A Touch of Tranquility is a must! I booked (on line) a half hour session with Donelle. Needless to say, she was very professional, courteous and knew exactly what she was doing. I've been to several masseuses before and they seem to root around, going by the numbers. Donelle knew where to find all those little muscle knots and wiped them out. My back and neck haven't felt this good in, I don't know how long. I highly recommend Donelle and a touch of tranquility! I haven't been to a spa for several years. I moved back to Corning a couple years ago but haven't thought of going. Recently, I had a family tragedy and lost my mom. Let's just say the past few weeks have been more stressful than I've imagined. Donelle has taken some of that stress away and that worth, well, that's priceless. 4.5 stars I am from out of town and visiting family. Plane rides and lots of backseat car riding was killing my back. I stopped on a Friday and was able to get an afternoon appointment for Saturday. I said I just wanted a 60 minute massage focused on my back and she said the therapist would accommodate that. The spa itself is a converted house and quiet. The rooms are cozy. I found it interesting that the music was not typical spa music. It must be the therapists choice. Today it was older blues/jazz. Actually having words singing during a session was sort of nice. My therapist was Kim. We talked about my back and she taylored my massage to my needs. She really worked my back! Kim gives an awesome deep tissue massage, you know the kind that hurts but in such a good way. If you need your knots kneaded while visiting or you are looking for a regular masseuse I would highly recommend Kim. read more

Depending on the person doing your waxing, you'll have a good experience especially with having Christina. The major downside of this establishment is expecting your appointment needing to be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date. I go to Christina for massage and Brazilians. She gives the same results of a deep tissue massage without the pain! It's hard to go to anyone else after having a massage with her. As for Brazilians, I refuse to see anyone else. I am always in and out in 15 minutes, she makes me laugh and feel completely comfortable. For the longest time I struggled to find a place that would wax my eyebrows just right, I've had them butchered by other places and felt stuck when trying to research a better place to go in the area. I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this business, the employees that work there put so much care and consideration into their work. I usually get my eyebrows done with Christina and she does a fabulous job every time. When I had my first appointment with Christina she asked me questions like how thick I would like my eyebrows, would I be satisfied with the shape that she was thinking,etc. At other places I didn't receive that kind of commutation and I would just be stuck with whatever I got. Also when I first went there my eyebrows were butchered from a past appointment and Christina worked with me to create a schedule to grow them back out and reshape them. Although I can't speak for all of their services because I haven't experienced them, they offer amazing and comfortable waxing services and I highly recommend them! read more

This spa came highly recommended from a friend and did not dissapoint. My massage therapist was Christine and she was wonderful. I tend to hold most of my stress in my shoulders and back and unfortunately with many massages I've expierienced it feels more like a rub down than an actual therapuetic massage. With Christine it was a completely different expierience I felt rejuvenated and I noticed improvement in my posture even after the first session. This is a review I should have wrote months ago! It's specific the the "flawless facial" they have. The flawless facial is to be something to remove age spots, cherry angionomas, ect....the procedure is very painful but you're to have this perfect skin in what I was told, weeks. I did this on a few spots on my face and it scarred!!! There was a 2 week period I looked like a burn victim with huge scabs and afterwards the skin was pink and never healed! I contacted the technician and she was apologetic....but that didn't help me, I was expecting more after being told this would go away and blah blah blah!!!! This experience was awful! Trying to cover up the marks and not having any help from this spa was frustrating to say the least! I've had to spent a lot of time and money trying to reverse the damage. I did this procedure in early May and it's now October. After seeing a dermatologist and have a laser treatment with a plastic surgery provider this week my face is now looking normal thank the Lord! I learned a huge lesson and I won't be returning. read more

I have been coming here for five years, ever since my back injury. I had tried physical therapy and pain management, but nothing helps quite like a massage. My insurance company works with them and I've never had to pay out of pocket. I know these guys so well, I came to them for waxing when I was planning my wedding.
