A big THANK YOU to Tom's Mobile RV Repairs of Parker, AZ. I was traveling to Earp, CA staying at…read moreEmerald Cove RV Park. I noticed smoke coming from my rear TT axle and nursed it to the RV Park. I tried calling numerous repair people to check it out. Bearing King, a business in Lake Havasu City, came out to check it out (see before picture) and determined it was beyond his capabilities and suggested I call Bearing King's partner. I did call him but he never showed up. Frustrated, I called Tom's Mobile RV Repair and he not only showed up but was able to finish the job in just a few hours as Tom had to correct some problems caused by Bearing King's rough removal of the parts that were damaged. Tom smoothed the axle with an angle grinder and also cleaned up the bearing races by hand and the messed up threads for the castle nut. Tom also picked up all the new parts (see after picture) I should mention that it was 106 degrees that day and Tom never complained and was very courteous and professional. His fees are reasonable and he let me know up front his policies. Thanks Tom, you were a lifesaver!

He had to go to Havasu to order parts which did not come in until Friday. Not impressed with Fed Ex on two day delay. Brake assembly was not the correct one for trailer which was incorrectly ordered by the Parts Manager at a business in Havasu. Tom was able to get us back on the road but without front axle brakes. Tom was prompt, courteous and easy to work with. I would call him for help without question.

Called on a Friday afternoon to see if he could get me in on Saturday morning, in Parker, to look…read moreat my engine that was making noise. I suspected belt tensioners or the fan clutch. He said be there at 8:30 in the morning and I was. After starting the truck up for him he immediately recognized the noise on the left side of the engine, from the front, and it was the main belt tensioner. I asked him to also check the air conditioning belt tensioner, which was also with bad bearings so he replaced both of them. While doing so he discovered the radiator return to the engine block was hardened and brittle and it just snapped in half. So he put a new 3/8" flex hose on there and I was good to go. Arriving back near Quartzite I noticed the engine was running hot. After opening the radiator, I could not see any fluid in my radiator. Under pressure it had leaked out. I put in a half a gallon of water to get to my home location. I called and left a message for Jesse telling him what happened. He text me back shortly and said he could look at it Sunday morning when he was in Quartzite for another job. He got there Sunday morning about 9 o'clock. and repositioned and reclamped the hose and that sealed where it was leaking from. No other issues since then. He did not charge me, which I wasn't expecting him to charge, so that was honesty on his part I felt. I would recommend him for your mechanical needs!
