I obtained a few estimates from different contractors, and they were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced with far better reviews than the cheaper option, which is another reason I chose them. Thomas is highly responsive to communication, which again is quite unusual with most contractors in my experience, so that was a nice plus too. They provided evidence of insurance upon request. We paid a 50% deposit to get on the schedule and I was able to pay that by credit card without an extra fee, which was appreciated since it allowed me to get reward points on the purchase. A crew of three guys came out to the house early in the morning and completed the job just before dark. They did a phenomenal job. Each step was documented with pictures to show where rotten decking needed to be replaced, and an explanation of everything. Despite already being reasonably priced, Thomas gave us a nice discount for the extra decking on the final invoice, which was a happy surprised and very much appreciated. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. If you need a new roof or any kind of roof work, Tom and Jerry Roofing is the best there is without a doubt!

This company was hired to install a roof on a house we purchased (we had no control over what…read morecompany was hired). We were unable to find an office address or company phone number to contact the company, which is very unprofessional in our opinion. The address listed is the owners former residence. While the roof was supposed to be done prior to closing date, it couldn't happen due to trouble getting materials, and was delayed about a week, which is understandable. However, communication was very unclear as to what day the roofers would show up (we had supplies blocking our driveway for about 3 days before anyone showed up, though we were told they would be there THE DAY the materials were delivered). Additionally, when the workers did show up, only one person spoke English so we could not communicate well. They also brought a 7 year old girl with them who was running around our property the entire two days they were working on the roof. While I respect parents who work, we did not appreciate an unsupervised child on our property without our consent or any notice. No one said anything when they were done, they just up and left. We had to clean up the supplies that were left behind. They left a ton of nails and debris on our roof we had to climb up and clean off. There is also two obvious dents in our gutter that were not there before, but no one came forward about it and again the company is hard to get a hold of. We were able to get a call from the owner during our contract period at the request of the realtors, but he promised us quotes and paperwork and never delivered. This was before the nightmare that was the actual installation. The lack of communication obstructed our ability to move in and coordinate with other contractors doing estimates for other work on the house. We reached out over text and email to talk to owner to se what we could do to make it right and have not heard back since. We waited a week before posting review in hopes this was a one off project and not something up to their normal standard. Would not use again. Poor communication, no pride in their workmanship, poor quality of work, and poor professionalism.
