We broke a bedroom window moving some things, called A-one this morning and the owner was out by 12pm to install the new window into the frame. He had given a time frame of between noon and two so being so prompt really helped! He was able to cut and fit the glass into the frame on site, reinstalled the window and you'd never know he was even there. No mess left behind, extremely nice, and polite and let us know ahead of time what he needed to do to the window and frame and doubled checked to make sure it was okay. The price was great, much less than what we expected a job like that to be. Took him about an hour and fifteen from start to finish, cannot beat that! Definitely use this company next time you're clumsy like us and break your window, haha! read more

Terrible service. I hate leaving bad reviews, and wouldn't do it if it wasn't necessary. We called A-One Glass to come out and replace the glass in our window with another piece we had ordered with a cat door. They did an estimate and we set a date to have it done at 9am the morning of our appointment. On that morning, they called to say the truck broke down and that they couldn't make it. Okay, fine. Things happen, sure. They rescheduled for another date. Again, we arranged work schedules so one of us would be home, moved the furniture in the space, and locked the cats and dog up. The appointment time came and went. Like nice, understanding people, we called to see when they might be coming but got the voicemail. We left a message. They never showed. They never called back. We had been stood up twice by this company and had to call another company to have this simple job done. We're very disappointed in A-One Glass, but very happy with the work the other company did. read more

My thermal pane glass in our greenhouse window in the kitchen failed after 25+ years. Moyad promptly came and gave us a competitive bid. He said it should take about two weeks to have it made and would call us to schedule installation. Eight days later he called to make arrangements to come and install. While here, he also fixed another of our windows that the frame had come apart. He removed it, replaced the screw and reinstalled it for us. He could have easily said it wasn't repairable and sold us a replacement, but he was honest and helpful. His friendly demeanor and bright smile was icing on the cake. I can't recommend A-One Glass highly enough. Working from an incredibly high ladder, they just replaced three windows at the top my three story home, plus the glass inside French doors that open to a small deck. About five years ago, I had received three estimates for this work and was told that the glass inside the French door frames could not be replaced. Had a very odd and frustrating experience with Mouyad and his company. I called them based on Yelp reviews to replace a broken window in my house on Queen Anne. They arrived promptly as we scheduled and gave me a fair quote and I gave them a deposit of half the charge. They came back a week later to install and I wasn't able to meet them at the house so we agreed they would go ahead and re-install and I'd call them with a credit card later for the remaining amount after I'd a chance to take a look. I was in the process of remodeling the house and had contractors in-and-out of the house all day, the painters saw them come an install the window. They called around 3pm and left a voicemail that they'd finished and asked for a credit card for the remaining 1/2 balance owed. I was in meetings all afternoon at work so didn't get a chance to call them back until around 6pm, after which they had already called back again and I got another voicemail from my painters saying the window guys had come back and UNINSTALLED the same window. When I called them they said I hadn't called back soon enough with my credit card so they came back out and uninstalled the window, and wouldn't come back until I could be there on site and pay them immediately. Huh? Who does that? I told them that's crazy and we decided just to refund my original deposit. I hired another company and it was no problems -- what a waste of time. read more

I needed a broken pane of glass in a wooden door repaired and I called several places to get quotes. A-One Glass' quote was half the price of the others and they were able to come out to do the work within a couple days. During the repair, my eight year old son endlessly chatted up the installer and he was completely patient with him, demonstrating and explaining what he was doing, and discussing all kinds of subjects (astronomy, sports, math, friends, etc.). Sometimes repair people get irritated by my chatty son (understandably, as they are trying to work), so I especially appreciate Moyad's willingness to engage him and provide good "customer service!" Not only am I happy with the results, it was truely a pleasure doing business with Moyad. Used them to replace a fixed thermal pane window. That was a mistake. They nicked the adjacent window with the corner of the new on on installation, and denied they did it. I have photos of the glass fragments that I did not see on the window sill until after they left. I did not like that they set the rubber pads under the window on an uneven part of the rough opening such that one pad's such that it did not support BOTH panes evenly and therefore stressed the seal. They said if I did not like it, put the pad where I wanted while they went out to get the glass. The had the audacity to indicate that it really did not matter how the pads were set since the windows only had a 10 year warranty, implying they did not have to do an install that woud be expected to last more than that? Going to the WA Labor & Industry site, the only business owned by Moyad Fadami is Premier Prefered Glass, LLC whose UBI number 602576120 expired on 9/24/2010. That is the only company on the site that lists him as owner as of 9/10/2912. The phone number listed is A-One Glass' current number. Humm. . . read more

It's hard to think of any way A-One Glass could be better. When you deal with A-One, you are dealing with the owner. Moyad Fadami is more interested in getting the job done correctly rather than "selling" you something. Call and you'll get a prompt reply, a written estimate (he provided an estimate by e-mail and stuck to it), and a job done correctly. I have 25 year old Milgard style aluminum windows. My choice was to replace the windows or replace the glass (due to fogging). Moyad went over the options and we settled on replacing the glass where needed. I have used 3 or 4 glaziers before and clearly the quality of Moyad's work was much better. He completed the job today and the work was meticulous. On top of that, the crew were especially pleasant and very careful with leaving everything as they found it. A-One is top notch. After seeing their work, I wouldn't even try someone else. A-One is good, very good. read more
