Cathy: Ok *hangs up* It sounded like she was not having it, because it's the beginning weekend of Valentine's day. I mean I should've read the reviews before I made the order but this business popped up on google. Not that it matters, I needed a flower delivery business. My best friend lost two of the most important people in her life in the same week. She is in Georgia; I am in California. I tried to send her flowers simply to bring her a small moment of comfort. Instead, this experience turned into a nightmare. My order was canceled under the excuse that they were closed for the day and the Thanksgiving weekend -- despite their website clearly stating they were open and accepting orders. I was told the same day that I had been refunded. That refund never happened. Instead, I continued to be charged by a third-party processor on their behalf, while the company repeatedly insisted there was "no charge." At different points, I was told: * the order was canceled and refunded, * the flowers were delivered (they were not), * and finally, that there was no record of the transaction at all. Each call resulted in a different story. When I asked for written confirmation of the cancellation or refund, the owner, Mike, hung up on me. Their systems are archaic, their record-keeping is nonexistent, and their ethics are deeply questionable. In moments when compassion and professionalism matter most, this company showed neither. Do not trust them with your money -- especially during a time of loss.
