Fantastic flower shop and staff really friendly…read more I can see why Bromborough Flowers have been winning awards and are rated amongst the best on the Wirral. Lovely selection of flowers and low prices, and arrangements in store which were stunning. The business was recommended to me as a wedding florist by several of my friends, and they didn't disappoint, Pauline & Andrea were amazing throughout!! I booked a wedding consultation initially with Pauline for my wedding flowers and to share some ideas, she made me feel so relaxed and definately took the stress out of the process, offering fantastic and well informed expert advice. I never once felt pressured, sadly the same could not be said for some of the other florists with whom I had consulted with. After finally agreeing on my flowers and various things, I was kept in touch with throughout the process which certainly helped ease the nerves and worry. The 'big day' arrived and my flowers were presented to me at the hotel and as promised, the venue was fully dressed - I never once had any concerns, and the flowers just were simply stunning so much so it brought me to tears; the fact I had so many comments about them during the day confirmed that I had made the right decision in going to Bromborough Flowers. The biggest surprise (or maybe it wasnt given what I had been told by friends who have been here before), was simply the price... I had to ask Pauline to recheck a couple of times as it was massively cheaper than the other florists who quoted me in the area. Highly recommended in the highest possible way and I would not go anywhere else now!

Would have given 5 stars but for the sullen staff member that served me, didn't raise a smile once even though I was very pleasant, didn't advise me of prices before inflating balloons, didn't ask me what coloured ties/strings I wanted or in what order I wanted the balloons on the ties. When I had paid she didn't even look up when I said thank you and goodbye. Not great customer service really. The other times I have gone I had been served by someone else and they were very nice and talked me through all my options with the balloons. 1 metallic helium balloon and 2 pearlized happy birthday balloons on the ties with weight cost £8.10.

Be-bop-a ...Lula…read more.. A nice little flower shop with modern and unusual arrangements opposite the Royal Hospital. I love surprising friends with fresh flowers that don't look like thay have come from the local garage. Lula delivers and the prices are reasonable. It's just below street level but you can't miss the large pink sign. They don't have a website so I'll post some photos to show their creativity. And in the words of Gene Vincent "Walk around the store, get more, more more ..for your baby love .... ..."

The fact that it is located upon Prescott Street opposite the Royal Liverpool Hospital means that it is the ideal location to grab a pick me up for a person in need. If theres one thing that flowers do well it is to cheer up those who are down and having purchased a varied arrangement for my girlfriend from Lula recently I felt uplifted by the whole consumer experience. On my trip to Lula I purchased a varied and colourful arrangement of lilys and carnations with various other types of flowers thrown in there. This was all done on the reccomendation of the extremely helpful staff who simply asked who the flowers were for and the kind of arrangement I would like and took it from there. This kind of service is sadly missing from many modern day businesses and it was an extremely satisfying feeling to have experienced such excellent customer service and attention to detail. The arrangement cost around £7.00 which was a reasonable amount for an above par level of service. Lula is a much fresher and personal alternative to purchasing flowers which are sold at the Spa store a few doors up. If you are a Liverpool local with a need to cheer up a special someone visit Lula and I promise you will not feel dissapointed. On the whole excellent, business, excellent service and an all round feel good experience.

I had absolutely nothing to worry about during the set up, I provided my seating plan in the afternoon when I popped in and it already looked amazing! The food was absolutely amazing, the comments from all of my guests on the night were all so positive. I had a number of dietary requirements which were dealt with effectively and efficiently with no effort needed to ensure my guests got the right food. The service was fantastic and run like a military operation. Service was extremely speedy and given the type of event this was a good thing to ensure my guests had maximum time of dancing and drinking the night away. The staff were all extremely helpful and I got everything that was paid for, there was no issues with lack of food and drinks, there was so much available! I would highly recommend using PW, the communication in the run up to the event was faultless, the operation on the day was flawless and overall I was looked after very well and my guests provided for. Don't hesitate in booking with them as they really are excellent.

Pickled walnut catered at our wedding. The canapés looked lovely (I was too excited to eat!) and…read morethe sit down meal was really nice. They apparently forgot to ask some tables how they wanted their steak cooked but they cooked it medium, so I think most people enjoyed it. Bacon butties at night went down a treat. The one disappointing element was the service of drinks at the reception. The drinks weren't poured when we came out of our ceremony (right on time). They were very slow at walking round to top our guests' glasses up and a lot of our guests were standing around without drinks. I ended up getting pretty annoyed with PW about it (on the 3rd time of asking), but to be fair to them they did speed up after that. It did upset me because i shouldnt have had to tell them again and again: they had clear instructions to circulate with drinks in the written 'minutes' and we had paid them to do that. I was also upset at their reaction to my complaint after the wedding. Jamie (MD) suggested it was because our guests drank too much and they ran out of glasses, but that doesn't explain why the drinks weren't ready at the start and why they weren't topping up glasses. We also had loads of drink left at the end, so either they underestimated or we overestimated what our guests would drink. So mixed feelings about them- food good, but service and customer care needs a lot of improvement.
