Even from the early age, she has learned ALOT of stuff way faster than other kids her age who are A) in another daycare/school or b) do not attend daycare. If i ever have a problem with anything at this daycare, which is rare, I can email/text/call the owner/manager and get a response VERY quickly. They always have the best needs of me and my child in their mind. I pay bi-weekly. Which is a BIG help, because usually its MONTHLY at others place. Their prices are VERY affordable as well. (They even supply breakfast and lunch and snacks! Yum!) I have some of the teachers on my FB page, and they are just the sweetest people ever. I couldnt imagine switching daycares for my daughter. I literally travel in the opposite direction of my house and job, an extra 15 mins away, just to keep my child in this daycare! I honestly get anxiety thinking about ever switching her daycare. (I dont know what i'm going to do once she starts school!) I give this Daycare 5 stars, and if I could, I'd give them a hundred more. I recommend this daycare facility to each and every person who reads this.

I submitted a cease & desist notice along with the court order & a staff member called me back to say "dad sent us a letter this morning authorizing us".... when I said ok but I sent you a letter denying it AND a court order, so you're telling me your "contact" trumps a court order?, she replied "it's irrelevant to us" & that they would continue to defy orders signed by a district judge with utter disregard to the other parent's demands/choices. Disgusting & needs SERIOUS change.

Let me be the first to reality check this ridiculous place. The parents should be aware that not…read moreonly is it soon to be sold, but the turnover that "all daycares experience" and "training new teachers" seems to happen nearly on a monthly basis here. I won't name names (the owners know who they are), It's like any other failing company: It begins from the top down. Take a good hard look beyond the facade and a couple positive reviews on this platform. Do you really trust three or four reviews in several years for your child anyway? You may like what you see on the surface but likely because there is a significant lack of decent programs in this area. Older children may not be as affected but the 1-3 age group is undeniably neglected. The "owner" who seems to carry this flag in some altruistic manner is not only rude, but a complete flop. Never present in almost a year we have only met upper management twice. If there was ever an issue to discuss, good luck addressing it. Yes. These facilities are for sale and probably will be sold to a different management group for the same reason they couldn't keep staff there. We quickly began to feel uncomfortable leaving our child here. I care VERY little of a company's "difficulties", especially if it is to keep staff employed. Staffing isn't staffing when it comes to the well being of your child. To them this means employees. To you this means leaving your child with a stranger. If this is in the 1-3 age group who can't speak for themselves I take this very seriously. A stranger to you, and a stranger to your child. This happened all too often. Most of the permanent teachers are decent, who just so happened to call in sick more often than not. Likely because of a lack of resources and poor management. Personally, I don't give a ---- about excuses, Especially when it comes to my children. At this age group, when I leave my child in the care of someone else, I expect them to be taken care of by the same people each and every day, or at least individuals they know so that they (and we) feel safe and comfortable. This is why we're no longer there. It is your child that stays here, not you. We experienced teachers (subs) who not only left us feeling uncomfortable, but were downright reportable. Never under any circumstances should a day care operate in the manner that they have. Particularly worse than that, the management staff (if you can find them) is not capable of managing this. If any staff remains by the time they finish treating everyone like garbage, your child won't see yet another stranger. As a customer you are a number and god willing you will get help that you may seek with the buyout. Good luck to them in the future, though I don't really mean that. If good intentions are what they seek, they wouldn't have neglected their business, especially a business where the well being of our sons and daughters are at stake. A very holier than thou attitude by management and a reason most staff is jumping ship. Customer beware.

It is so hard to leave your baby all day while you head to work, but the teachers in the infant room are so loving to all the babies that it has made it much easier on me. He smiles when he hears them and the other babies and it makes me so happy to know that he is somewhere safe and well cared for all day. They are usually at capacity though, so if you are interested in this daycare, you better get on the list as soon as you find out your pregnant. You won't regret it though. I seriously cannot say enough about how wonderful they are.

My husband spoke to them about it, saying the owner is entitled to her opinion and and it's not that we disagree with her (tho we did), but that kids don't vote and we think a daycare should be free of politics. Nothing changed. We stayed there until 2015 because it was convenient and reasonably priced, but it got progressively more wacko when they started pushing all this religious stuff without ok'ing it with parents first. My kids would come home and talk about Jesus and Bible study and we were like, wha??? When we called the school on it, they said our kids could be pulled aside during bible study and do something else. That meant watch a movie (not learn anything or have any instruction time) and be ostracized. This came to a head when we were about to move and it was only my daughter there still, so we opted out of Bible study and grit our teeth for the last few weeks. Oh, did I mention we ARE Christian, and we had problems with this place because, you know, separation of church and state and all that, and TACE doesn't advertise itself as a religious school. The school itself is fine if you're looking for a conservative Christian daycare that tries to indoctrinate your kids ala Fox News. It really should advertise itself as a Christian school, though. My kids left this school in 2015, but I'm reviewing now because I've had too many friends who have now been mistreated by TACE to remain silent.

It's long, but please read if you are considering this establishment…read more I am writing this review to share my disappointing experience at Kiddie Academy New Braunfels. As a parent, the safety and well-being of my child are my top priorities, and unfortunately, Kiddie Academy did not meet my expectations in several key areas. I want to note that my child has been with this establishment since he was 1.5 years old and never had ANY behavioral issues until he was put into the upper three year old class. This is where all of the issues began with that class teacher Ms. Janie and the director Amanda Mobley. The first issue they had with my son was that he wasn't potty trained (nothing about behavior). As soon as he was potty trained, the issue began to be his behavior. Many threats of suspension or dismissal was mentioned over both circumstances. Staff Professionalism: I expect the leadership of a childcare facility to be exemplary in professionalism and conduct. Unfortunately, my experience with the director has been quite the opposite. * Lack of Respect: On multiple occasions, the director has spoken to me in a dismissive and condescending manner when I raised concerns about my child's care. The choice of vocabulary she has chosen to describe my child's behavior is repulsive. This lack of respect is unacceptable, unprofessional and undermines the trust parents need to have in the daycare. * Unresponsiveness: When I have tried to address specific issues or ask for updates regarding my child, the director has often been unresponsive or delayed in getting back to me. This lack of responsiveness is highly unprofessional and leaves parents feeling unheard and unsupported. * Unprofessional Conduct: There have been instances of the director exhibiting unprofessional conduct in front of parents, such as losing their composure, using aggressive language about my child, which demonstrates a lack of leadership. Quality of Care: As a parent of a child who requires special educational needs, I have been deeply disappointed by the daycare's inadequate provisions and understanding of inclusive practices. * Lack of Trained Staff: There appears to be a shortage of staff trained in special education and inclusive practices. My child's specific needs are often overlooked, and there is a clear lack of individualized support. This has led to my child feeling isolated and unsupported. Which has resulted in behavior issues. * Inadequate Resources: The facility lacks the necessary resources and materials to support children with different needs, such as autism. There are no specialized learning tools or adapted activities to help my child engage meaningfully with their peers. * Poor Communication: Communication with parents regarding the needs and progress of children with differential needs is severely lacking. I have very rarely been kept informed about my child's development or any interventions being implemented due to the behavior caused by his special educational needs. Communication: I am deeply concerned about the lack of consistent and transparent communication from the director of Kiddie Academy. * On February 14th, the director informed me that we needed to meet regarding my son's behavior. The director, Amanda, stated, "...but things are not getting better and I have parents emailing me about his behavior..." However, the director has contradicted this earlier communication in our meeting the next day, February 15th by stating, "...his behavior has made improvement". To which my husband made note of immediately. She then said, "I didn't say that". So my husband pulled up the email and read it to her. This inconsistency is troubling as it directly impacts my trust in the daycare's management and their commitment to my child's well-being. Reliable communication is crucial in ensuring that parents are informed and reassured about their child's care and development. I urge the director to uphold their commitments and improve their communication practices to prevent further misunderstandings and concerns. I hope this review encourages Kiddie Academy to address these issues and improve the quality of care they provide. Until significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend this daycare to other parents.
