A Cleaner World in Hickory is THE ONLY cleaner I trust----ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. I wish they would clean my HOUSE (and SOUL) too. Everything they touch SPARKLES.
I am a HUGE fan of HUGELY expensive clothing (much to my accountant's disgust)....so I am very picky about the dry cleaning services I use. I have been burned (LITERALLY! IN THE NOSE, FROM SMELLING THE RESIDUAL CHEMICALS!) by SO many cleaners in Hickory----BUT NEVER BY A CLEANER WORLD! I honestly only expect their level of exceptional service in New York or Europe.
My "INVESTMENTS" aka my "CLOTHES" are cleaned, repaired and cared for----with AMAZING service to boot! I am greeted by Steve, who is HANDS DOWN, the nicest human on this planet. Totally serious about Steve. Steve needs a medal and a star in his heavenly crown. In fact, Steve has STAYED LATE, past closing hours, to make sure that my "emergency order" (typically needed BEFORE a 6am flight!) is perfect AND packaged to prevent wrinkles. WHO DOES THAT? STEVE DOES THAT!
The WILD WEDNESDAY specials are also spectacular....and I am NOT a "crazed coupon savings person". Their prices are UNBEATABLE, any way you add it up. BUT, when you consider the TOP TIER CRAFTSMANSHIP and THE AMAZING STEVE.....well, I would pay A Cleaner World any price they demanded!
IN GOLD BRICKS.
THAT IS HOW MUCH I LOVE A CLEANER WORLD.
ps...I hosted a house guest last month, WHO BROUGHT THEIR CHIHUAHUA (I KNOW!) without telling me beforehand. Hercules, the aforementioned chihuahua, had a "nervous bladder". Hercules apparently felt nervous around my FAVORITE sundresses and silk evening gowns. I was left with a messy guestroom AND wee-wee drenched couture.
TRUST ME, that odor lingers----on your clothes and in your subconscious. YET, A CLEANER WORLD and STEVE SAVED THE DAY!
CONFESSION---the smell was SO HORRENDOUS (as in, my Father vomited) that I MAILED the "ruined" clothes to a "clothing restorer" in LA, and this "expert" could not eradicate the "Herculean Odor". It was the FIRST TIME in his career that he could not eradicate a smell or stain.
LONG story short, I dropped the garments off with Steve and he was like "NO PROBLEM! SEE YOU TOMORROW!"
Sure enough....the next day, my once-ruined clothes smelled like flowers and unicorns and rainbows! read more
