DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could give zero stars, I would. A-Class Student Movers do not care about your belongings or you! You are just another move that pads their pockets!! This was the 2nd time to use this company. The first time was great, so we used them again. The second time...VERY POOR EXPERIENCE. We had brand new furniture (about a year old) from Ashley. This furniture was expensive. Their employees set our bedroom chest on a curb to balance and then got in the truck to cool off. While they were sitting in the truck, the chest fell over on its front. Lots of damage!!! All they said was sorry! (Our footboard was also damaged). We filed a complaint that very day but the managers didn't receive it until the next morning. Here is the catch.....the employees want you to go ahead and sign the contract after the move saying that they completed the move. In the fine print which is not pointed out when you sign the contract is that they will pay $.60 per pound for damaged furniture. So, if this was a cheap chest or an expensive chest, they will pay the exact same amount of money. I sent the company a copy of the invoice where we purchased the chest. The price we paid for the chest was $764.00 before tax. They offered $105 to cover the damages. This chest is completely ruined. Both corners at the top are caved in. There are scratches all over the front and the knobs. This chest can not be fixed. It has to be replaced. And this company is offering $105 to cover a $764 chest that was in perfect condition! They also damaged our footboard and offered $30 to cover the damage. Are you kidding me??!! What a joke!! This company is a joke!!! By all means, do not sign the contract after the move until you inspect every piece of furniture for damage!! They will stick you with the fine print when they ask for your signature (and definitely won't point it out). This company has no morals. This whole experience was a joke! I had already decided NOT to use "A-Class Student Movers" after reading their reviews on google. So i looked up some other moving companies and decided to hire "West Monroe Movers LLC" little did i know that this was also "A-Class Student Movers" as well as "Monroe Movers,Farmerville movers and Ruston movers". Each "company" a different name and address but essentially A-Class !!I hired them 2 days prior to my move, the day before they called me to confirm the move and the locations. On the day of they came 1:30 late claiming that the crew i was supposed to have was unavailable due to food poisoning. We moved from the first location to the second location just fine but when moving from the second location to the final location this was the issue. They badly scratched up the face of my front facing washer and dryer on the wall of the apartment bringing it up the stairs and they "lost"one of my glass lamps. They said they must have left it at the second location we checked and it was not there. I didn't move far, i only moved from building 1 to building 18. They have no idea where my lamp is yet they were the last to have hands on it because they gave me the lampshade.! I've called everyday for the past 4 days inquiring about my stuff and all they are saying now is that i need to file a claim. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

This was my second time using this company. First time, everything went fine. This time, they left the hardware to my beds, dresser, and tv stand at the old house. Then when I could find the bolts to my second bed, I was talked to like I was crazy, but turns out the movers still had them. I paid $500 to end up having to put furniture together and waste gas looking for bolts they had. I will NEVER use this company again. read more

I am with the others for ZERO STARS! Should NOT be in the moving business! They quoted me a certain price for 3 bdrm house. Drove up in old box truck that they had to keep raising the hood to put oil or something in it. They seemed very unorganized and they were not careful moving or stacking furniture. The lead guy literally Bounced my washing machine down to brick steps like it was no big deal. They couldn't get all of it in one load so I had to pay extra for "off the clock" on remaining items. I had my items moved to storage while waiting on our house. When I signed the paperwork, I had to sign a waiver for broken items. Well how the heck do I know what's broken or not! I used some local guys to help move my stuff from storage to the house. Nearly every piece of furniture was scratched, nicked or legs broken off. My new freezer was nicked and dented. Legs were cracked or non existent on my sectional. A small table had a leg broken in half and they threw the bottom part of the leg to the back of the storage unit. Now my washer isn't working, just sits on the sensing mode, so probably the board was damaged when he bounced it around. I was so disappointed and disgusted. I thought I was helping out students by the name of the company, but it was a family deal. They need to be shut down. DO NOT USE THEM! read more

I made an appointment with them to move my daughter, who is attending ULM university. It should have been easy, one floor to another in the same dorm. My daughter gets a call the day before to reschedule an hour earlier - no problem. On the morning of, no call no show, no answer when called. Finally, an hour and a half after the scheduled appointment, someone answers the phone, mumbly and slurring making excuses for an employee and broken equipment, then I was hung up on. FInally, my daughter gets a call saying they can not get to it now, until 4 hours after the original appointment. Needless to say, she told them nevermind. As a follow up, calls were made to the main number, but no one ever picked up again. By the other reviews here, seems I may have dodged a bullet- whew. read more

We used this company to help us unload after moving from Washington to LA. -a long hard trip. To end our trip they tracked dog poop from the front yard (did not bother to check first), into the house. I had to clean the carpet and bleach the floors before we could even start to unpack. Then large heavy plastic boxes were placed upon antique cherry dressers, and a standing lamp was ruined. To see we were displeased with their service, which was not cheap is putting it mildly. read more

Simply the WORST I have ever seen. Lazy, whining, rude, slow kids who appeared to be either on drugs, mentally disabled or both. No pride in their work and no care for anyone's personal property. Will sloppily pick up your stuff, drop it, slam it, bang it into walls and ceilings, all the while complaining like 6 year olds and taking multiple "breaks". I ended up taking several pieces from them and asking them to leave early. In the end I was just happy that they didn't burn my place down. I sincerely cannot imagine worse movers. This is the first yelp review I have ever written but I felt a moral obligation to my fellow consumers. Do not use this place if you value time, money, or any of your belongings. read more

This company is a bunch of straight up con artists. They should not be allowed to do business in Louisiana .They seem very nice and cordial on the phone but don't let that fool you. Unfortunately, they know all the reputable moving companies stay book up and ultimately their phone is going ring with their next victim. They showed up and was told we needed them to haul all the furniture and as many boxes as they could get with out leaving furniture which we could haul later. We wanted them to make one trip. They said they had plenty room and loaded all the boxes first and could not get all the furniture. We negotiated a price once truck was loaded and they promised to come back and get the last few furniture items into the price. They took their time unloading it. They got truck 3/4 unloaded and demanded payment before they would continue. I explained to them they had to go back and get the other stuff and they continually assured me it would not be a problem. I paid them like an idiot and they started working slower. The man was on the phone with someone he said was his boss and started talking like he had to hurry up. I walked in the hose to use the phone and they took off and left. I thought they were going back to my old house. They hit the interstate and were heading home. They didn't know I was behind them. I pulled up to get their attention and they got off on next exit. He told me that he could not do anymore unless I paid him more money. I told him that I just wanted them to complete the work I paid them for and get the other items and I wasn't paying them anymore. They got in the truck and continued home and ignored me. I decided not to continue to follow them because I was getting upset and did not want situation to escalate. THE PERSON MY WIFE HAD ON THE PHONE ALSO STARTED IGNORING HER PHINE CALLS.
