This is for Jacksonville, NC office. If you're not sleeping with Adrienne or any manager, you're bound to get fired, or bullied. If you're not buttering up to Keith and going out to dinner with him and other higher ups, your job is at risk and your complaints are going to fall on deaf ears. Don't become too passionate abut the job, because when you want to really dive in and help, they tell you you're working outside your scope and just provide the services needed. Everybody cusses each other out, spreads rumors, and always pointing fingers at others when they get in trouble. They allow men to talk disrespectful to women, they tell consumers to stay away from someone because the don't like them, they treat consumers like they have no type of intelligence and don't have the right to say no. All of the drama happens in front of consumers. The workers need to be placed under the company's care. Don't bother writing an "anonymous" statement, because they end up telling the person your name and now you're put in an even more uncomfortable position. Oh, and don't you forget something, because all the higher ups are going to chew you out, but make sure you're understanding when they do it. They don't compensate you for using your personal vehicle- you pay for gas, tires, everything. They gave Support staff a $10 Christmas bonus, managers went to Olive Garden and received $250. I have had 2 children involved with this agency. They are very personal and have assisted our family through very trying times. They specialize in Developmental Disabilities, such as Autism spectrum and even before my son was approved through insurance to receive services, A Caring Heart stood by us and did what they could. I have had nothing but good experiences over the course of about 6 or 7 years since they first worked with my eldest daughter. They are not like other agencies we encountered in the past, who were impersonal and crude.
