I'm new here so I was really nervous about the whole pet sitting thing and having a strange person in my house looking after my baby Sally Mae. We are from a very small town in West Virginia and Wichita is a large city in comparison to the town we're from of 2,000 people where everybody knows your name and your business. So when I got hired on at Koch industries and Sally Mae and me moved here last July we didn't know anybody. I was working 12-14 hour days and Sally Mae was just a young pup and needed to be let out every 4-5 hours that's when I found Annie at A Bone Sweet Bone. She came to meet us on the weekend on a time I had off and I explained my situation and she listened intently and told me that's exactly what she does for busy people like me. She's been in the business since 2000 so I figured she must be doing something right and she was bonded so I didn't have to worry about my belongings and she was real nice so I gave her a try and Sally Mae and me just love her! We know that everyone would if they just met her. She's got a sparkling personality and she's honest and sincere and she Loves animals. We couldn't be happier and her prices are reasonable too because she gives discounts! So now I don't have to worry about working such long hours because I know Sally Mae is in good caring hands when Annie's taking care of her it puts my mind at ease. I've used A Bone Sweet Bone for about 4 months now and I must say I have been very impressed with the way they do things. She customized her visits to suit me and Harry's needs. Harry is my 5-year old Siamese with a personality all his own. He's very finicky and regimented and likes things done in a certain manner and placed in certain ways. He goes crazy if they're done differently. So of course this was a major concern when interviewing pet sitters for his care taking. We tried 3 and of the 3 Annie was the only one who did as we agreed upon. The others were trying to just slide by, but it was as if she knew how important it was that Harry have things done in his feline OCD way which led us to keep her on in our employment thus far. She also goes above and beyond and sometimes will show up with some especially homemade gluten free treats which Harry just adores, and can have given he has allergy issues. So we are like three peas in a pod. Tucked away in our cozy little bungalow in college hill with a kind-hearted pet sitter to come tend to our eccentricities and feed my baby special yum yums. T-R-E-A-T-E-D with Excellent care, compassion & professionalism! Annie at A Bone Sweet Bone pet sitting service is truly AMAZING! I called her in a panic! My father had had another stroke the second in a one month period and I had to rush back home to Missouri quick! I called Annie on Thursday and we did a Meet n Greet Friday and I was homeward bound Friday night after work! My dear beloved beagle, Betsy, age 11 was insulin dependent and I was nervous about leaving her with a stranger but I had no options, it was my dad, and Annie seemed competent enough. Betsey had to have her insulin twice a day.; morning and evening. I was gone for a week and 1/2, Annie had been texting me to give me updates on Betsey and she even sent me a couple short videos on my phone to let me see how she was getting along! I was beyond impressed! She, Annie, handled everything with such tenderness, thoughtfulness, and compassion to my sensitive needs at that time. I don't know what I would have done without her! Pawsitively Outstanding!!! A Bone Sweet Bone cared for my cat, Angel and my dog, Oscar while I was away on a two-week business trip. Being new to the Wichita area I had noone to help me with my two "babies" and so I called Annie at A Bone Sweet Bone. She came and was very professional and organized. Me being a corporate tax accountant loved that right off! I knew we were off to a good start. Then she surprised me with picture text messages daily and even a couple video texts so I could see my babies in action... I was missing them so much this really helped reduce my anxiety for leaving them in a strange place for such a long duration. I never worried once that they were not being cared for as I would care for them because I had confidence and trust knowing that they were... You couldn't ask for a better pet sitter! My husband and I recently went out of town and had Annie come watch our fur-babies. They couldn't have been in better hands! Not only did Annie take the dogs for a walk every morning, she took care of everything else too. From opening and closing blinds, coming late in the evening to let out the dogs, to taking pictures of all the animals daily, even the fish. A friend who was mowing, accidentally triggered our alarm system. Annie made an extra trip to our home just to make sure that everything was ok! Annie truly goes above and beyond in her care for your home and animals. She was able to accommodate multiple visits a day, all while over a long holiday week and holiday. Annie definitely has a way with animals. The dogs both adore her and she was even able to get close to our kitty, who is afraid of almost everyone! WOW! What a great experience I had for my first scheduled dog sitting occasion. Annie was AWESOME! I had just moved to town and didn't really know anyone who could provide this very personal service for my pup. I called A Bone Sweet Bone and Annie met with my pup that week prior to my leaving town on a 10 day vacation. While I was gone I received text messages, pictures and a even a video of my pup enjoying himself in our home. I never had to worry about my pup or wonder if he was being cared for in the manner in which he was used to. The overnight stay in my home provided the perfect care for my pup and a level of safety for my home that allowed me to have a worry-free vacation. Annie comes daily around my lunch hour and takes Domino for a walk to burn off some of his puppy energy. Then she comes back again at 4:30 and does another walk for him and feeds him dinner before I get home. I never have a set schedule and that way Domino can stay on a regular feeding schedule and it gives me the freedom not to feel so guilty for not being there with him. She's great! Annie is honest, reliable, trustworthy, caring, and my Pug Betsy Sue loves her to death! She has been watching Betsy Sue for 5 years going on 6 and I would never even think of having anyone else in her place while I'm away on business or pleasure trips. I know Betsy Sue will always get her medication when she is supposed to get it so I need not worry that she will ever have a seizure due to missed meds. It's worth it to me to get someone who I know will do what they say they will do in my absence. Annie is Top Paw when it comes to pet services in Wichita! Rocky needs to go for his afternoon and early evening walk before I get home from work at 6 pm and I can "always" count on her to have it done! She is great! Her personal little touches, and extra TLC that she gives him when I'm away lets me know he is in good hands when I can't be there.
