One of the best mortgage brokers you can have in town.
They are situated in the old church building, just behind halfords , right oppsite the underpass to the town centre.
The service in general has a personal touch to it. You will not be treated like a royal member, but, it is nice to see a place with some genuine interest to help you out in getting the best deal to make your dream come true ( buying a house, that is!lol)
Nick Archur is very good and knows his stuff very well and will talk to you in a simple language that is easy to follow to help you understand why a peticular mortagage is suitable for your needs ( after you tell him exactly and honestly what your circumstances are) in a totally non-patronising way.
Other people in the offie can be non-genuine and treat like another number in their books. They can be very good in making you feel that they don't have time for you, especially when you ask them a question, they may answer it really abruptly and when you follow it with another question, you can feel they are relactant to elaborate as if they have got something better to do ( that is after 6 minutes of their time)
Don't let this put you off going there. Most of the brokers in there will go the extra mile to help you, it is just 'some' of them that you can tell who they are from the first moment you meet them. If you are unlucky, ask to see somebody else! read more
