This is a very helpful garage. I broke down in a nearby village and called my dad for help. It…read moreturned out the my battery had died but the car was all electric and it had locked me in the car. I told my dad to go up to northwest tyres as he was close to smashing the windows in to get me out! They lent him all the tools he needed to get me out of the car and even lent him the battery to put on the car so that I could make it to the garage! The were really helpful! I would not even think of going to another garage for help, I will always take my car there!

They always do a good job and, in generally, they're 50% cheaper than their closest rivals! When I had new brakes fitted, I had one quote for about £300. C & C quoted closer to £150 including parts and labour. I know someone else who needed new tyres and was quoted over £200 by a dealer, she went to C & C and got just as good quality tyres fitted for less than £120. They do servicing and MOT preparation (but not actual MOTs). They will work with any make and model. And they sell and fit tyres and exhausts. They are always really nice and get the work done quickly, they don't charge too much and they always do a good job. I'd definitely recommend them.

Another example of the amazing value they/he offer. The wing mirror on my Land Rover was clipped by another vehicle at speed and was knocked off and just hanging there. Quotes were crazy to repair it. Went so see Simon and he called to ask the cost of a replacement mirror which is what was recommended by others - £1,200!!! Then it would have gone be painted and installed. He said - bring it in Monday and I think I can fix it for you. Sure enough he did!! Cost £97 and 6 months later it is still perfect!!

Had high hopes but sadly once again reality proved otherwise…read more I have been looking for a decent garage to service my camper in this area for ages (need big ramps) so it was a pleasant surprise to find this garage after getting some tyres from blackcircles. Had a pleasant chat to manager on arrival and it all looked promising. It soon became clear all was not good. They couldnt balance them claiming the wheels were too big (ATS had no problems subsequently and said wheels were pretty standard) So already I've done my dough as I had paid for full fitting and balancing. Whilst on the job I asked them to put old front wheels/tyres on OSR (twin wheel transit) and put new tyres on the front. I was then charged £24 for that favour!! Finally as guy was reversing out he hit a stack of tyres marking bumper (hopefully will tcut out). It was an easy, straightforward job. But still too much for some, and then to be ripped off in the process jsut a pointless waste of time because we will never use them again.
