My daughter took her 2007 Chevy Tahoe in to have the transmission rebuilt they rebuilt the…read moretransmission and the stability track light came on in the truck shook like crazy. We called them and had it towed back into them. My daughter called back the next day to ask if they had looked at the vehicle they said no so she said she would call back on that next Monday to get an update. Some things took place where she wasn't able to call, but they hadn't called her either so my daughter being a woman and we know how that goes in an automotive shop, haven't we called when I called they told me that the vehicle was done and that she owed $495. My daughter never gave them authorization in which they claimed that she did in the state of California that's not legal authorization you have to have written authorization and if you do get a verbal authorization, they have to note the person's full name, their phone number, the date and the time that this supposedly took place in which that information could not be conveyed they just said yeah they talked to my daughter, so their shot manager had the owner. Call me in which he got very competitive argumentative and basically accused us of being that type of person that's trying to pull a fast one. My daughter told them upfront that she needed to know what she was looking at before. Any work was done because she had just split up with her boyfriend and they have two kids that are very little so she needed to make sure that she could afford it instead the shop decided they're gonna do the legal thing and do the work and figure she was just gonna pay it not gonna happen not on my watch. Don't take your vehicles to this place because they're gonna charge you for stuff that you didn't approve and it's not legal they figure you're gonna need the vehicle that you're just gonna do it. I've dealt with this before and everything they did was illegal and they're gonna learn the hard way that they can't treat people like that and they can't strong-arm people into paying bills that were not approved for those that are in similar situations. make sure you file a complaint with the bar (the bureau of automotive repair.) and then if need be take him to Small Claims Court because if they hold your vehicle and refuse to give it back once you win in court, they can be responsible for any rental cars you had to get while you were waiting for your car to be returned to you check the laws in legalities and everything covered underneath it don't let them take you for a ride because I think they can get away with it. Unfortunately, Yelp won't let you leave a review with no stars so I had to give one star, but if I could give negative I would.

After my rear running lights stopped working, I took my truck to another repair shop in South…read moreCentral Los Angeles. They replaced the light sockets, and everything appeared to be fixed. The mechanic turned on the lights, and they worked perfectly--until later that same evening, when the problem returned. I brought my truck to Certified II and explained what had happened. They got right to work, and about three hours later they called to let me know it was ready. When I arrived, the technician, Omar, took the time to clearly explain the electrical issue and exactly what he had done to repair it. I really appreciated his professionalism and willingness to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. Cody at the front counter was equally professional, courteous, and helpful throughout the entire process. On top of providing excellent service, they gave me a military discount and even washed my truck before returning it. It's hard to find an auto repair shop that combines technical expertise with outstanding customer service, but Certified II does exactly that. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and professional automotive repair. They've earned my trust, and I'll definitely be returning for future service.

The receptionist also said, the mechanic noticed you have a bad timing belt and it needs to be replaced. We were inexperienced and fell for the scam. The sensor they replaced was no where near the timing belt. It costed us an additional$ 450.00. Two weeks later the problem came back. Beware of these scammers. They probably didn't even change the timing belt or the sensor. We took our vehicle to a different mechanic he replaced the right sensor and we had no further problems. This is one of the worst shop in Victorville. If you are a single woman don't go here by yourself.

One of the guys that works here is a shady, lying individual. Quoted me a price in person after I…read moreclearly explained to him and showed him what exhaust work needed to be performed on my car. I agreed, then my car was driven to the back of the shop, then immediately as he's about to rack it tells me it's going to cost more to do the job since the exhaust wasn't installed already. I thought he was kidding, but, I'M not kidding, HE was serious. I was like what the F??? Why would I bring my car here in the first place if the exhaust system I wanted to have installed on my car was installed already??? He didn't have any rebuttal that made any sense and claimed he thought it was already installed and he just had to finish it yet he knew the exhaust system was in pieces in my trunk??? So after a little back and forth, he agrees to do the work close to the price he quoted me, I should of left then, but I agreed even though I felt this guy was trying to play games with me and take advantage of me. I agreed, then he tells me that I couldn't watch them do the install (it would of been somewhat custom) when there was another man standing next to me who was clearly a customer watching his truck get worked on??? At that point, I had it with his games. So unless this guy is seriously that dense, this was a classic bait & switch tactic that failed on him. Be aware.
