A follow up on my previous review. After the tech. showed up he couldn't figure out why things…read moreweren't working or why they gave me a second router after my third trip to the optimum store. I guess the manager has no clue how their system work. The tech that came out suggested I try the new streaming devices on the two cable boxes that did not work and that no one with optiimum had a viable solution. I agreed because a literally had no other choice. They worked fine and I had the tech come back a few days later to install the remaining boxes for other rooms. Three days later around 11:00 pm I noticed that I wasn't getting Starz or HBO anymore. My frustration was high and I called the same night. their phone system sucks! But i finally got a hold of a person but the phone kept cutting out like it had the two previous times I called. i told the rep they were cutting out and he hung up on me And didn't call back! After calling a second time the rep acted like she didnt know what optimum streaming me was. She told me that my bill was current and she didn't know why my service was interrupted. Anyway, she kept telling me to hit the reset button on the back. I told her that there was no reset button just an on/off button. After several minutes of going through things that I had already tried, I started getting Starz and HBO again. There's more but I'm going to research other options with other streaming service.

The prices are always great, I just recently had them move my service and everything went without a hitch. The only issue that I DID have was my own fault for not returning equipment, and even that was resolved quickly via the online chat service. :) Nothing but good things to say about their technicians. The one time service was shoddy at the apartment, there was a notice on the apartment website from Suddenlink letting everyone know that they were working on the system and it would be working full-speed again shortly (and it was). Beginning with demonstrating equipment in the store, then tailoring a system to your personal needs and finally pushing the go button...they demonstrated product knowledge and technical expertise as well as the resources to bring it to fruition. At purchase and installation, they provided exactly what I expected. What I didn't expect...we had an equipment failure (cable went bad in the ceiling) when the system installation was probably out of warranty (8-12 mo.)...but it was never even brought up when I called. The fix required another component or two and some labor. They promptly fixed it...no charge. Kudos to Mike Waller and the guys at Hi Fidelity Lubbock!!

I will be looking for service elsewhere, due to my interactions with Chris. Which is sad, because myself and my family have had service with at&t for over ten years.
