I found Prestige Autotech on the internet contacted 'Phil' and described the problem and he gave me a very competitive estimate (£216 +vat to replace both front springs) and we booked it in for the following morning. The repair was carried out most efficiently, I found their workshops to be very clean and modern and Phil to be most helpful and knowledgeable. My car was back on the road and off to the test centre for retesting (which it passed of course) by early afternoon and the final bill exactly what it said on the tin. I couldn't recommend them highly enough and will be returning for all my future motoring needs.

So the scene in I pull up behind an old vw camper that had ran out of fuel and as I was refueling the driver of the camper started up her vw after she had filled the tank and with excessive revving my 11 month old baby stired quite abit so like any father would as I went to pay I politely asked if the driver of the camper would not rev the camper excessively again upon leaving (which she did purposely), however it was the lee hire drivers response of "oh dont be so pathetic" which really shocked me so there was a little back and forth nothing too bad but pretty disrespectful on this gentleman's part. A a complete disaster. it needed five panels beaten out or replacing. well Eastbourne CF put in a seriously inflated figure and the car became a "write off". I talked to a local bodywork specialist near where I live and he said it could have been fixed for under half of what they quoted. wonder why they quoted so high?1?! could it be so that they could buy it as a write off, repair and sell on?! the engineer that assessed it promised twice to call me to talk through the damage but never did. HOW RUDE! And to add insult to injury the "manager" of ECF refused to take my belongings out of the car so that a friend could pick them up. What he wanted was for us two sisters, both elderly, both in self-isolation because of corona virus, to risk our own and other people's health by breaking government guidelines and travel 40 miles to eastbourne by public transport in order to pick them up ourselves. NEVER have I encountered such an offensive and unhelpful company. I felt truly insulted by their careless, unhelpful, rude attitude to elderly women at a time of national crisis. horrible, horrible, horrible.

I regularly supply my own parts because the car is no longer manufactured and the parts are hard to source at reasonable prices. They have always accepted this and we have good customer relations. The charges are reasonable and they have always made me aware of what needs to be done before proceeding. I don't think they replace parts unnecessarily. I have had several cars of different makes and models serviced and been entirely satisfied with their work. I know they are constantly busy and can only ascribe that to their loyal customer base. I would recommend them.
