I was seen by an audiologist elsewhere several years before, and I had identical hearing tests back then. However, then, the audiologist did not recommend hearing aids to me. Dr. Paul remarked that the pitch in which my hearing is worst is the pitch that is most important for hearing consonants, and explained that he believed that hearing aids would really help. He was absolutely right, and I wish that I had seen him years earlier! Libel Hearing Aid Centers in Lansing, KS is the closest service location for Audibel. We called them to see about getting the hearing aid repaired. They would not even talk to us, said she would have to pay $300 PER HEARING AID for them to "take over the service". No advice, no interest in helping us. All they said besides the $300 to even look at it was they liked to book their appts back to back for their convenience, on certain days of the week. We walked in to a nearby Southwestern Hearing Aids (no appt), they tried a fix right away - for free - then sent the hearing aid in for service - for free. We highly recommend Southwestern Hearing Aids, they now have loyal customers for life.

When you go to an appointment the doctor is supposed to listen and address the issue, however these doctors will ignore the concerns of the patient. And they seem to blow off concerning points on bloodwork as well. Maybe they need to find newer physicians and get rid of the P.A.s and nurse practitioners.
