I have had two of the best fences installed by A Affordable fencing. My first was a 5 foot powder coated aluminum I used to enclose my front property. I live in the Southside and have a corner lot. This fence looks great and it adds a bit of security to the walking perimeter. We receive tons of compliments! I was very happy with the pricing. It was the most reasonable. There were many choices to select. The install team was communicative and quick. They had my entire project completed within a morning. I have since sent them two other projecrs. BOTH, railing for a deck and a privacy fence completely different locations and styles were completed. All were super happy with the results. I have sent several E-Mails and posted Pic. of his work to his competitors And text him the pic. that I sent to Them. In June we paid 5,000 which is half down to fence in our backyard. They promised they'd get the fence up in 6-8 weeks. The only reason we chose this company is because every other company was booked 6-8 months out and we wanted the fence up ASAP due to terrible neighbors and aggressive dogs. We could have went with another company and got the fence a lot cheaper if we wanted to wait. It's been 17 weeks!! I called at 12 weeks got a rude guy saying they had covid and had to shut down. While I'm sympathetic a phone call or text would have been nice. Guy said he be here end of next week. Well two weeks went by and I called again. Got another excuse. The guy said two weeks. Which was October 1st. My fiancé calls and guy says I'll see you next week to put up the posts. Nothing!!!! Won't return our phone calls!!! Can't get our money back and contract says after 6 months from the paid date they can up the price of the fence!!! They are dragging it out to charge us more! Don't use this company! They don't communicate, are rude, and apparently can't get things done like they promise. If I could get my 5,000 back I'd go to a different company! Very unprofessional! read more

I would not recommend this company. Ever! I requested a quote for a white PVC privacy fence (thought it would go well with the white trim on the house). They quoted a chain link fence. That should have been my cue to move on; however, I told them they misquoted and need to do it again. Alas, the PVC fence was too expensive so I went with wood. I accepted the quote and they told me I would be put on the schedule. I had to ask when that would be as they are not very forthcoming in the communication department. The reply was "about 10 days". On the 11th day I requested an update on the scheduling (I've been prepping my yard for reseeding and need to know so I can plan accordingly). I was told they were working on a couple big jobs and would get to me when they could. That didn't make me feel very good as a customer and should have been my second cue to move on to someone else. Another week goes by and I have to ask again when my fence will be installed. I was told it would be that weekend when posts would be set (4 days later). They showed up and I walked my property line with their crew to show where the fence was supposed to be installed. I wasn't able to do this with the person quoting as I wasn't home. Fence was completed early the following week. Planks were being cut with a chainsaw and guess what? It looks like the planks were cut with a chainsaw. When I looked at the fence running the length down to the end of my property I noticed it was built on a slant coming towards my house. It looked terrible. I showed the crew and they just shrugged. I left a couple of voice messages and emails and finally was able to get in touch with the person who quoted the fence. When they finally made a decision to fix my fence, they told me it would be 3 to 4 weeks before they could get to it. Or, I could take a reduction in the price. 3 to 4 weeks would not work (remember, I'm about to seed my lawn ... lots of time, effort and money has already gone into the prep). Don't know what type of price reduction they would have given, I didn't ask. But, I would imagine it would not cover the costs of having another fence company come out and fix their mistake and the fence could not remain the way it was. I had to tell them they needed to come out and fix the fence within the week or I would get another fence company to come out and fix the fence and deduct that cost from their payment. They came out the next day. Great ... they fixed the fence. However, when I was out the next day picking up the dirt (and a plethora of cigarette butts) from the new post holes, I noticed they didn't totally remove the previous posts near the end of my property. They left them at least 1" above the ground which means I have been given more work to do because I do not ever want to see them again on my property. The quality of work is terrible. They failed to complete the work right the first time and after returning to fix their mistakes, they again fail to complete the work right. They fail to clean up after themselves as well. Communication is absolutely terrible and what should have been 10 days turned into a month with more work for me to do. read more
