I expressed worry that it would be stolen, misplaced or lost, and I referred to their instruction board. That stated they are not responsible for anything that happens to me in that store. It sounds like if they lost my license or it got stolen they wouldn't be responsible and I would just be SOL because I gave it to them. After asking to speak with someone higher than the cashier for guys, came back into that little space, and stated they're gonna refuse service. This is after they check your ammunition to make sure it qualifies to be shot on their range you fill out everything on the iPad you give them your ID you pay your money and then they say sorry you're too confrontational. I had the department manager the floor manager, the store manager and when I asked to speak to the GM, they said the GM was not there. it's expensive unorganized and in this day and time when identifications are stolen in peoples whole credit, lifetime is ruined because somebody went and opened a bunch of credit cards because I got somebody's drivers license name address date of birth. I can do a lot with that. When I specifically asked, what safeguards would they use to protect my license? They said we'll just put it right there next to the register that's a no no that's an absolute no no, so go there at your own risk. But be prepared if you question anybody in that store, they're going to bring the morbidly obese store manager, almost morbidly, obese floor manager, and then the skinny as a zipper department manager and then say we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We're not gonna service you today.

Before Thanksgiving of 2022, I went to Goodwill for help in finding a job. I have a disability and…read moreI was hoping that they could help me find work in a different field. I went to the classes they offered several times and I did my best to do what was asked of me but nothing ever came of work. They have jobs of their own on offer and they partner with local companies looking to hire. I have applied for so many positions with only two interviews. I have extensive previous work experience in many fields. I was told that they wanted to give me a Google scholarship for a certification. The lady handling my case said that she just needed to get her boss' approval. Then it all went silent. Never heard back. I went back to the old way of looking for a job myself on Indeed (another waste of time) and forgot about that. One day I saw on Indeed that there were jobs hiring at Goodwill. I was frustrated and ripped off a complaint on their website. Mr McCloud wrote to me and apologized. He offered me a gas voucher to come attend their next job fair (I had gotten to the point that I could not afford to waste gas anymore because of no money) I went and applied for jobs with them and the job partners. Nothing, silence. While I was there, I was told that the lady handling my case had left the organization. (No one called me to say "this is so and so, I'm taking over your case. Do you need help in your job search ?) I asked about the Google IT cert possibilities and was given a name to contact . Director of outreach ministries. I sent her an email. I explained my situation. I got one call from her that I missed. I called her back four times, leaving messages on two calls. I never got a response. I would not be so mad and feel abandoned if it weren't for the fact that their mission is supposed to help people like me with barriers to employment. I never asked for this disability to happen and when I reached out for help. I got a fifteen dollar gas card. Nothing more. Miss Gloria is a sweet lady, she's the bright spot of the whole place IMHO

This is basically a better curated Goodwill, where they have pulled more select items and known brand names in favor of just jamming the racks with a bunch of junk. That being said, finding grills can be a bit of a hit or miss. The Store has steadyTraffic so don't expect to just catch people slipping. I have come up on a couple of really high quality dress shirts, slacks and the occasional pair of jeans, but outside of that. I haven't found much else here. There is a good deal of designer items and collectible shoes that they keep behind the counter. So I would definitely check that out If you visit. pricing overall is pretty reasonable with some of the more popular brands priced a bit higher than you normally see them in Goodwill, but that's to be expected, especially in this part of town.
