Normally I like the station but now I am hearing nothing but Christmas songs not happy either that it is only December 3rd.

95.9 is a pretty good radio station! They have a good variety of songs, their news is decent but minimal (which I find as good), and their radio hosts are good! Their balance between songs and commercials are good as well, but one of the reasons I had to take away a star was because of their Sunday sports talk. Sports are not my and some other people's thing and that radio dedication could be better spent for a day free of commercials or the best balance between songs and commercials in Virginia. It also would be nice if the radio signal strength could better reach Lake Ridge, but hey that's just my opinion and request! If your like the hits before the 2000's than this is the best station in Virginia! read more

I enjoy the morning drive-time news and DJs, however they continue to play the same music over and over an over again, with an occasional surprise oldie now and then. They either play canned programs of music already looped, or they just find it easier to play the same old music rather that look through the libraries of thousands of songs available. I find myself changing to other stations earlier each day. read more
