Thomas arrived in 7 minutes, assessed the situation and brought in one of his crew to start work. Before they could start, a roomful of personal items needed to be removed from the space that my aunt and I could not have handled on our own. He and his partner helped get that moved out quickly, but sensitively, before ripping out the carpeting and carpet padding, then setting up fans and humidifier. They worked so hard over several hours. Thomas visited everyday to check progress. We felt better for having them doing the work. Thomas' demeanor and thoughtfulness kept us calm and reassured, which felt as important as the work he and his partner did. We don't want another water emergency but if we have one, Thomas will be our first call.

Under no circumstances should you use this company. Had a flood with over 2 inches of water throughout our condo do to a busted pipe in the kitchen. My Brother in law who is a general contractor came in with his wet vac shut the pipe down and sucked out the majority of the water before this company ever arrived. Once they did they set up all the drillings in the wall, vacuum pumps, fans, driers etc and it appeared everything was going great. They even had us sign off and stated we will handle everything with your insurance company which was also wonderful. This is when the problem starts. Upon removal of their equipment they came to my mother who is in her mid to late 70's and said if you pay us for the work when the insurance company pays us we will kick you back a percentage of the fees charged. My Mother is about as straight laced Italian women as they come and told them absolutely not. 2 weeks later go by and we get a call from the owner screaming at my elderly mother stating the insurance company only paid them 4K of the bill and wanted to negotiate the rest as the insurance company felt their price was entirely out of line for the amount of work done. He threatened my mother that if she didn't pay the difference they would file a lien against the property. Mind you the insurance company gave them $4,000.00 quickly and felt a negotiation was the next step based on other cases of similar magnitude etc. With my mother signing off on the original documentation they were empowered to speak to the insurance carrier to get paid. Without any additional follow up and warning they filed a lien for balance of the work. Absolutely unbelievable to me this can even be done, but speaking with my attorney's and my insurance carrier they claim they will get this worked out. Bottom line is this company is a bunch of thieves and should be avoided at all costs. Their work is fine but their methods, pricing, intimidation of senior citizens and tactics used to try to get over on the insurance carrier & the consumer our outrageous. I should have filed a suit against them when they offered the payoff perhaps I will now. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
