Not a review of the coffee, but I had a top notch experience here. I stopped for a hot tea and a comfortable place to sit while waiting to meet up with friends nearby. There's a wide variety of seating so likely a comfortable option for large bodies or disabled people. There's room for a disability scooter or motorized chair. The staff were incredible. I had a delightful chat with Kevin while ordering and he was so sweet when I spilled my tea by knocking my table. Later, Chelsea gave me a glass of water without me asking which was so thoughtful. The music is chill and fades into the background while reading. This was a very comfortable space to relax in before moving onto the next adventure. Worth stopping by!

787 Coffee is that spot. I believe it's Puerto Rican-owned, amazing coffee, bomb tea, and let me tell you about the Coquito Latte--straight fire. It's like drinking the holidays in a cup. Perfect place to knock out some work or vibe with a friend. Cozy, flavorful, and all-around dope. Go check it out--thank me later!

I got off of the L train at Lorimer Metropolitan Avenue and saw this cute coffee shop and sign it had outside. The sign said RUM! So I was like oh my god I need to try it and went inside. I was faced with a lot of decor and everything caught my attention. I was just aiming for the rum infused cold brew coffee and didn't know that the contents were in a plastic pouch until I got it. I was like wow it was something new that I've never seen before with any coffee shop. I took a sip and detected bitterness and not so much on the rum. I was kind of disappointed at first and then thought otherwise. I drank the whole pouch and expected to be tipsy but then it's coffee so I guess it was not that strong. The place has nice swings by the window as chairs with several plants by the window making it look really hipster. They have other mismatched nice accent chairs making it look really hip. This place has WiFi for free when you purchase and chill there. They are also serving banana and blueberry bread along with empanadas as snacks.

Knocked it down a star because this coffee shop is very expensive, too expensive for coffee. The specialty latte I ordered started at $8, plus .75¢ for oat milk and .25¢ for iced. The barista - who was very friendly and kind! - also asked if I wanted to pair my latte with their rum infused beans. This sounds interesting and I love a coffee shop that is unique or has their own specialty drinks but this was a $3 up charge that would have made my iced latte $12. That's just way too much to spend on one coffee, let alone that ice and alt milks shouldn't cost extra. All this being said, it is a nice coffee shop with plenty of seating. It's decorated very cute and even has two swing seats along the window which is fun. I probably won't go back due to the price but I did enjoy my coffee, it was a delicious latte.

I get that it's more expensive because of the backstory of the supplies & direct connection to the farm, but damn... The specialty latte I ordered started at $8, plus .75¢ for oat milk. But then the barista kept talking about the special whisky and rum infused beans. It sounded interesting and I loved when coffee shops have unique menu items that they do in-house but it was a $3 up charge that he didn't tell me about. (& the little price on the signs for those beans were written in a TINY font.) He kept saying the rum was his fav but warning, the additional infusion ruin any specialty lattes. Mine overloaded the flavor of the coquito latte. They should really urge the specialty lattes to be done with the regular beans, but I could tell they were trying to upsell. I couldn't even drink 1/4th of it. I also got a canned cold brew to go because I needed a coffee for the next morning, which was also made in-house instead of the La Colombe cans you find in Trader Joe's but as soon as I took a sip, I had to spit it out. Holyyyyy sh-- it tasted toxic. Avoid that at all costs. I can't tell if it was supposed to be like that or not, but I felt like I got roundhouse kicked in my mouth.

Such a nice comfortable spot, WiFi available. Never knew this location was here, it's a few blocks away from Graham Ave but well worth going out of the way for. The coquito latte is a must for me, I've tried at probably 3 other locations and never had a bad experience. This time there was large spoonfuls of cinnamon in mine, almost coughed/choked but the quality of coffee was still good - the barista seemed a bit new. Nice seating and sofa available, wish I weren't in a rush

I went on a Friday evening around 9:30pm. It was still fairly busy inside, but it was mostly people grabbing to-go orders. After ordering I snagged a spot at the counter. There's extremely limited seating, so I wouldn't bank on eating at the restaurant when it's busy. Be prepared to take your food to go. I got the Nene's Deluxe, which comes with a taco, a mulita, and an empanada - all with Birria of course. It was all delicious. The mulita was at the bottom of the box and got completely soaked with Birria. It was extremely messy to eat. Get plenty of napkins. I also got a side of fries and nacho cheese, because it was a long week and I deserved it. They had a seasonal strawberry horchata as well. This was okay. I also think I might just not love horchata in general. This meal definitely hit the spot. The Birria and consommé were top notch. I would return in a heartbeat.

I tried something different than my usual and went with the Adobada Tacos (Pork Al Pastor). The meat itself was spicy and a little rough, which leads me to believe it was maybe old meat. Instead of cubed, the pineapple was shredded which offered a nice touch. Unfortunately the actual taco got soggy by the time I ate it so I just picked out the meats and pineapple. There is plenty of avocado green sauce placed on top, which moving forward, I will request to be on the side to prevent the taco from getting soggy. Overall I probably should just stick to what I know/like so I'm willing to give this location another shot!

Our reservation was for 8:30pm, but we arrived early and Alejandra, the hostess, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Even though she was ready to seat us, we decided to hang at the bar until the rest of our party arrived and that was the perfect move. Alkarys behind the bar was top-tier. She recommended the Siempre Reposado, and let me tell you... smooth, clean, dangerously good. If you're into tequila, that's a must. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered the quesadilla, rajas, tamales, tacos, and the queso fundido and every single dish hit. The queso fundido came out bubbling, rich, perfectly melted with that pull you want when you scoop it up. The tamales were moist and packed with flavor, wrapped beautifully and clearly made with care. The rajas had that perfect balance of roasted pepper sweetness and savory depth. The tacos? Authentic, well-seasoned, and layered with flavor, no shortcuts. Even the quesadilla stood out, crispy on the outside with that perfectly melted interior. Everything felt traditional, elevated but still true to its roots. You can taste the authenticity. Service was attentive without being overbearing, the ambiance was super casual and laid back, the kind of Brooklyn spot you pull up to for a real dinner experience, not just a quick bite. Highly recommend this place if you're out and about in Brooklyn. Definitely coming back for the tequila, the queso fundido, and round two of those tacos. I'm gonna try eating at the bar to check out the spot in the front of the house.
