Save your money and save a pup from shelter. The only positive feed back I could give is that my…read morepup is a gorgeous girl but what an orthopedic mess! By 1 year of age she was diagnosed with OCDs in both shoulders which are Generic abnormalities or her tissues growth in her shoulder which make it painful for her to enjoy running, jumping , walking or playing . Around 6 months of age I noticed she was always limping which I thought were growing pains , as she reach 1 year of age and the limping progressively gotten worse I realized this was not normal and she was for sure uncomfortable. Orthopedic x rays confirmed her OCDs , which were then further consulted with a surgeon. After reaching out the the breeder to inform what was going on with her , rather than taking responsibility for the poor line of breeding the questioned how well I am taking care of my pup? As I go above and beyond for all my pets I look for the best for them. I moved forward with surgery which the breeders were informed of . The breeders did not contact me once in regards to how she was healing or how surgery went which cost me $5,000. If the breeder was ethical they would look for the best for there dogs, but informed me to look for cheaper options which would act more of a band aid and would never fix her issues. That being said her breeders will never know the amazing life my Chloe lives. I hope that none of the other owners deal with what I have dealt with. Carly is also not OFA approved which is a guarantee the genetic traits will not pass down to her off spring. If interested to watch her progression since surgery reach out to abteyb@gmail.com. Below are her before and after surgery

Puppy Lovers/Buyers Beware!…read more I came across this website after my English Springer Spaniel of 15 years passed away. I spoke with the breeder, Kristi Hughes, at length about her puppies and my situation. She didn't have puppies yet, but was soon expecting. After researching, she was indeed the most expensive breeder, but I felt that I trusted her. I specifically wanted a liver and white female tricolor. She gave me full assurance that her dogs always had lots of tricolors since both the parents were tri-colored/rhone. I agreed to paypal her a $600 deposit in January 2014. I was paying to get the "First Pick." These were the terms that we came up with, and she agreed to: - $1,200 ($600 now, and $600 at 4 weeks) - I will get to choose and have first pick up until the puppies are 4 weeks old - If someone offers $1,500 for first pick, I will match it with some sort of proof (I really do trust you, but hoping that I will stay at $1,200 since I may have to pay up to $500 for shipping -Shipping will include a free used kennel (I will purchase a nice one that will be ready for her once she arrives) -There will be lots of interaction between birth and 4 weeks between you and me to help in the decision process -If a puppy is not chosen by me during this litter, these terms will roll over to the another litter The first puppies were supposed to be born in March, 2014. This one ended up being a "false pregnancy". The next litter was supposed to be around April 5th. I contacted her on the 5th, and she texted me that the dog had miscarried. I asked when the dog had miscarried, and she said it had been just over two weeks prior. I texted her that I wanted my money back, and she called me then. She went through many different reasons why she thought the dog miscarried: her horse died the night before due to a storm, one of the dogs got it's eye kicked out, and they thought it was dead, but it wasn't, her daughter had just moved away, and the dog miscarried and ate it's babies which made her sick. She said she would take pictures if I didn't believe her. She agreed to give me my money back, and acted very understanding. However , she explained to me that she had already spent the $600 deposit I had given her. She said she wouldn't have my $600 until she sold a puppy in three weeks. I agreed that I could wait. As a professional breeder, I couldn't understand how she would co-mingle the dog deposit funds with her own personal finances. She asked me to send her my info so she could mail it (how she didn't have my info at this point was beyond me). Then she emailed me a few days later saying the deposit was non-refundable, and that it goes toward the "care of the dogs". She said I could also roll it over to another litter. Weeks later, her dog (one that had not even previously been on her website) had puppies, and she didn't even make me aware of that. Several times since, she has agreed to send me back my money, but never does. This has been a heart breaking experience for me since I was so ready to get a new puppy. I put my trust into this breeder, and she turned out to be a huge fraud! I noticed on her Facebook page that she also sells body wraps to lose weight. She promotes the company and asks others to join her to make $$$ (which is plastered all over her site). She also had pictures of herself on this page after she explained and cried to me that the dog had miscarried. She looked fine and happy, and it was only a day or two within the time she told me all of the "tragedy" she was going through. She recently texted me about her horse, and said I had "no compassion for her horse that got hit by a semi". She had previously told me a fence fell on it in a storm. Lies! Since this situation, I have looked into other breeders, and there are much better ones out there. Please don't get stuck in a situation where you are only looking to get a great dog, and you get screwed over by this woman.

I took a class last winter, hopefully this teacher is no longer there. She was young. I was not…read moreimpressed because she wasn't focused on her students. I should have asked for my money back. She often rushed through things. She didn't have an awareness of how to teach human adults, by saying something , show something, say it again in a different way, show it again slowly. She said it once, showed it quickly then expected us to do it. She would show something, then have us go do it while she talked with her friends she brought in. She didn't pay attention to her students. She only offered help when I was struggling if I asked for her help, she didn't notice when people were struggling. She was stern and not approachable. She said she had lots of experience training. Perhaps that was true but she needs to work on people skills to be a group dog trainer. This intro class was designed to rush us through a program of a bunch of different things every time so that maybe we felt we learned a lot and got our moneys worth, rather than make sure we had important things down really well. The instructor said that after we finished the class we could come in for open play. I called and left a message about this twice but no one called me back. The place was freezing cold in the winter and smelly. I've heard other people like this place, but I won't go back. I also read the review about a woman abusing a dog here and people being rude. Big fat NO.

I was fortunate to watch a class and was super impressed. It is under new ownership - Brad and Kathy are really helpful and friendly. The space is super clean and inviting. They offer a huge range of classes from beginner to competitive in many disciplines - Very encouraging of all levels and creates an awesome environment to learn and grow. I am looking forward to coming back there for more classes.
