I believe it is a communication issue. Store is clean and well stocked but soda machine has been out for several days a few times and that's inconvenient. What I really don't like is that they allow that homeless guy to loiter outside asking people for money and talking crazy. It will keep people from coming in. I left a few times as to not have to deal with it. It seems like they never have enough hot food ready and if so it's overpriced and has been sitting for a long time. And I think they are always watching for me to steal something. As sometimes depending who's working it is uncomfortable to shop there. Not very curteous to women I've noticed. Store clean, shelves stocked. Just the ambiance is lacking but still convenient 24 hour store.

I went in at 9 am the next day only for the manager to tell me they don't take returns... I would…read morenever have thought I'd have a positive thing to say about a gas station in Salem, but they defied my expectations. We stopped here to get gas, use the restroom, and get a snack. The overall store was very clean and the bathroom was exceptional! It looks as if it had been recently renovated, which really helped to elevated the general "niceness" of the store. They had lots of options, both fresh and packaged, as well as a decent sized walk-in beer fridge. I opted for a packaged turkey sandwich, a banana, and a sprite. I don't buy gas station bananas because they always look old and nasty, but every banana looked great! And I got it for free since I bought a deli item. I opted for a turkey sandwich with cheese on a hoagie. The sandwich didn't come with mayo, but it didn't need it! The sandwich was delicious and cured my hunger for the rest of my 2.5 hour drive. I wish I could remember the gentlemen's name at the counter but he said he was called in on his day off, but he still had a smile and was very pleasant to talk to. This store is trapped in an endless store reset. The grocery aisles were narrowed and way too long. If you get in one and someone gets behind you or comes the other way, you're trapped. It's a miserable and confusing place to shop.
